Kobe dropped 60 at 37. So not really sure why you immediately say someone's favorite player was not and will not be dropping 56 at 37 definitively.
It was certainly a great game by LeBron, but it's not the untouchable 'never gonna happen for anyone else or happened before' that you seem to appear to want to project it as.
Kobe’s 60 and Lebrons game last night are on two completely different planets. Kobe’s game was a sideshow. He took 50 shots, a career high, more than he even took to get 81. it was essentially just a retirement party with him chucking to a comical degree. Lebron scoring 56 on 19 fewer shot attempts is infinitely more impressive. Never mind the season as a whole
A lot of guys of all ages can score 60 if they have the green light to shoot 50 times. Let me repeat that. 50 shot attempts. Just so we are straight here, he shot 50 times. He took 50 shots. 21 threes. 12 ft.
Ok cool. But since the complete text of the original poster is quoted by me.
He did not talk about efficiency, shot selection, etc... He simply said Your favorite player was not and will not be dropping 57 at 37. Discuss.
and I discussed that he was wrong... because it has happened before and will happen again. Regardless of what the 'context' of the game is or the efficiency/spectacle of the performance of the player doing the scoring in that game.
