Ah, well, to be clear:
Box score-wise, Russell hasn't taken a clear leap forward since leaving Golden State, so what we're really talking about is that Finch has found a way to fit Russell in with KAT & Edwards that has been good enough to make the team a 1st round-level team.
Given that Kerr wasn't trying to fit Russell in with KAT & Edwards, this isn't an apples-to-apples comparison. This also has everything to do with why everyone was nervous about adding Russell to the Warriors. The idea of adding a point guard to help KAT & Edwards makes sense in a way that adding one to Curry, Thompson & Green was never so clear cut.

He about to become one of the most underrated players in the league. Dude was always arguably top 10 player in the league since the 2016.
Cavs turned a +3/3,5 actual SRS team than +8/8,5 SRS after he leaved. Celtics were +4,5 SRS with him and +1,5 without him in the 2018 season, despite the Kyrie's low amount of possesions played per game(64 Poss compared to 17 Cavs with 70 and 20 Nets with 72).

Arguable/borderline top 10 player seems about right for healthy Irving. However, you have to remember than mainstream media had him way above that, even being favored on comparisons with Curry.

Totally. Dwight at the top is pretty interesting/impressive too. The volume isn't super high, but high enough to mean something I think. I guess he's able to match Jokic's strength and still quick enough to make it hard on him? I'm not much of a post-prime Dwight fan, but yeah I'm impressed.
