I don't follow other teams so I'm always interested in learning what the other team's motivation is for making the trade if it isn't explicitly stated in the post. Helps me to understand if it's an idea worth getting behind/excited about if it makes sense and could actually have some legs.
Robinson is gone, they didn't make him a RFA, so next season he will be an UFA, Olynyk could get some of his minutes. Kinda similar to what happened with Greg Monroe a few years ago for us IIRC.
Knicks fans said Noel and Mitchell strengths and weaknesses overlap too much, and they could use someone different, someone with KO skillset could be usefull for them.
Also Thibs is not known for developing young players and Mitchell while very good at some things, is still very bad at others and could benefit from Casey/Ben Wallace/John Beilein.
Burks is a veteran, who is solid but nothing special, if you watched the game, you probably noticed they have Quickley, who should be getting more minutes and imo should be starting for them.
Rose should be back from his injury next season, and they paid big money to sign Fournier and they just paid a 1st to acquire Cam Reddish. So they shouldn't miss Burks minutes at the wings. Between Reddish/Fournier/IQ/Rose and Barrett they should be good at the 1-3.
They'd be getting 3 2nds for him, which is not a lot but it's something, we traded Bullock for a lot less than that.
