Why does it have to be one or the other? Both may be more useful than Duncan, especially if Strus continues to play well.

Duncan played in 15 total games his rookie season
Apologies for that.
Still, 15 games, which is nothing. He started all but 5 games the next season and logged nearly 30mpg.
The way I see it is, Duncan adheres to Spo's views on how basketball games are won, while Yurtz doesn't.
The way I see it, Duncan had time to develop in the Heat organization for a year as a rookie before being thrust into real action. Yurt is doing the same, but has the benefit of more playing time as a rookie

Perhaps. It's definitely a possibility.
Then again, he didn't do anything to warrant being benched.
And I don't think it's about winning because we lost to a healthy Suns by 21 after beating them by 23 while dealing with injuries. With the Warriors, similar situation, except we lost by double while being healthy and they had injuries to their 3 best players and playing their worst basketball of the season. In the losing streak, we were getting dominated on the glass and were playing Markieff Morris, who averaged 1rpg in 3 losses.
Oh well.

I disagree, that would be a very tough hard fought first round series that I’d like to avoid. Name the last time a 1st seed in the East didn’t have a cake walk the first round? Now we’re going to end up playing some stacked ass team now that we were able to snag it this season

To put that in perspective, the NBA average currently is 1.13. Basically, it's like someone hitting 40% of their 3s when isolating on Robinson (not just being open).

yeah i'm with the same opinion. let others deal with the nets because we just dont mash up with them very well3ammy3uck3ts wrote:

Last seasons playoffs really broke our fans

Context matters and you kind of said it yourself with that last line. We got swept in last years playoffs. Recently we lost to the Sixers sans their mvp candidate and harden, GS without Curry, blown out by Brooklyn. Granted we put together a better week last week but where do you honestly think fans are supposed to find this faith in another gear? Especially considering the top teams have multiple guys that can go for 30 any night while our best have to struggle to get 20.
And fwiw Im not afraid to play anybody

Divining anything from games where we played against team's benches and got blown out while on a clear slide and not matching effort is a waste of time IMO.
I'm just seeing way too much weight placed on things like the recent skid when it should not at all translate to playoff bball
