I'd actually go for Hartenstein. He's just scratching the surface. I was a fan of his in the draft. This year he was one of the better rim protectors in the league. I'm not sure how he ranks now, but at one point he was a top five rim protector. He's affordable too.
We can't trust his 3 point shot.
Whichever C we put next to Bam HAS TO be a proven, consistent, knock down 3 point shooter or else the entire offensive flow dies.
Turner isn't a great shooter but a proven decent one.
C. Wood has the offense but brings suspect Defense, J.Grant can defend but he's playing more like a SF then a PF.

This is sick and when you think about how Jokic made Bam look like a scrub this year, you really have to give Jokic the title of best in the world and another MVP.
Jokic is having one of the greatest years in recent memory. 27ppg, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, 58% shooting from the field, 33 PER (highest ever). In retrospect, Embiid is averaging 31ppg, 12 rebounds, 4 assists on 49% shooting and 31.5 PER. And then there's Giannis averaging 30, 12 and 6 on 55% shooting and 32 PER.
Honestly, any one of these guys winning it is okay with me. Numbers are almost identical at the face value and the team records are almost the same as well. I'd favor Jokic though - I think he has less of a supporting cast than both Embiid and Giannis.

With all the big contracts we have, I feel like we have to make economical decisions and find hidden gems we can develop. A guy like Hartenstein has quality physical gifts, a nice skillset, and the right contract. I think we can develop him into something good.
Turner would be fine, but hes always been kind of an injury risk. Availability is the best ability. He's also likely to have some suitors besides us. Could be pricey to obtain. I'm hesitant to go after a big with foot problems who costs $20 million.
I'd go after Hart and Jalen Smith in FA. I'd draft the BPA with our 1st rounder, and would get a 2nd rounder to invest in one of the big men projects.

It's real tricky, we have 2 ways to go about it :
1) Offer Robinson + Sweeteners (Omer/Vincent/Max/Draft pick/s) and find a guy that fits next to Bam and is worth giving all that up.
That list consists of the regular names we've been thinking about :
John Collins
Myles Turner
C.Wood
Josh Heart
Jermey Grant
Harrison Barnes
2) Or we can Just offer the full or part of MLE to an unproven guy with upside or a declining guy and hope it works out. Guys like :
Mo Bamba
Jalen Smith
Bobby Portis
Isaiah Hartenstein
Chris Boucher
Robert Covington
I think this type of move is the clearest, easiest, most impactful way to upgrade the team without making huge changes.

And the Heat should start making plans for the future as Oladipo becoming the starting point guard. And that may very well mean moving Lowry by the trade deadline or 2023 summer
Building this team to more of a pick n roll heavy offense thats fits Dipo and Herro. Less of a halfcourt team and more of an uptempo team.

Interesting, Lowry also likes to push the pace though and I’m not sure you can put that much faith in Dipo to stay healthy. Unless of course they view Herro as the plug in case of emergency there. If feel like if Lowry is moved it would be paired with Herro for a star though. Who knows?
