You see, son - life isn't all about being a success in your career. It's about being a good human being and acting in a respectful, respectable way. John Wooden would tell you the same thing, and that's what the poster is getting at when he says "UCLA grad". All you see is career success, but that's way down the hierarchy of importance. I have more respect for a regular guy who works hard and provides for his family, while acting in a respectful way than I do for some millionaire manchild who says reprehensible things in public and walks around in women's clothes. You need to reassess how you look at your life and who you idolize.

The point is, this is the NBA, everyone can put up numbers with the ball in their hands. Just the fact that Westbrook is much more willing to dominate the ball than a Chris Paul or whoever else doesn't make his great if he can't produce at league average efficiency at minimum, which he hasnt been able to do for a few years now.

There couldn't be any other reason why a 33 year old who's numbers have declined for the past 4 seasons before this year also saw his numbers decline again this year?

Maybe Shaq could come out of retirement and win a few more MVPs. His numbers at the end of his career didn't progressively decline because of age, it was just that the coaches weren't using him right.

As a Russ fan i see his decline and is progressive, this season is so massive to not view that the poor fit+trash coach was the key for his performance.

Next year he will be putting better numbers than this season for sure.
