I did google it and all i got from it are that they are the same level as anti-vaxxers, flat-earthers, flying-spaghetti worshipers, ZuCkerberg is an alien, Jewish lizard overlords, etc etc.
No harm no foul do what you want as long as it doesnt hurt others...
So whats so bad about it? You really would turn away the sage-spreading Kyrie if he wants to play here?
Sure. What's wrong with accusing everyone you dislike of being a member of a cabal of child-molesting cannibals?
No. I wouldn't take Kyrie. I'm not giving a max contact to a guy that I'm fairly certain doesn't really want to play basketball anywhere. I know he wants the money and fame. He has never actually demonstrated a desire to play basketball. He forced his way out of Cleveland. He tried to shut the NBA down because he couldn't play. He won't play because he won't get vaxxed. He sabotaged his own team in Boston and then walked. Fool me seven times... shame on me.
They do? Thats different. Like I said, i dont push my beliefs on others and i expect others to do the same. So you telling me JI is a member of that? Thats differentnof he is a card carrying member of agroup.
As for Kyrie... well talent is there... and we need a "name" so i wouldnt mind...i think.
I didn't say JI is a member of that. You asked about QAnon. That's QAnon. It's not just a conspiracy. It's a bat-shit-crazy conspiracy started by some nut on a forum full of nuts.
This is a new and significant step for JI. This is a step beyond having a book published by Ben Shapiro. This is a step beyond speaking at conservative or Christian conventions.
I'm not apolitical, but I'm not invested in either of the prevailing parties in our political system. I figured out a long time ago that they are patron/client systems and that neither party reflects anything resembling my own political views, so I can't pretend to know much about these conservative events. I do know that the names listed as speakers at this event that Isaac is going to speak at are not mainstream conservatives. This is not a good look.
If Isaac isn't already on your team, then you probably wouldn't want to introduce him into your locker room at this point. It's just too risky. If he is on your team, then you are probably hoping that he doesn't say something stupid and that this whole thing just kind of fades into the background as time passes. That's looking less and less likely at this point though.
If I were running the Magic, I would exercise the exhibit 3 clause in his deal if possible. You can sell it as a business decision reflecting Isaac's lack of availability and the need to mitigate some of your long-term roster uncertainty. You can lament having to do so, but still argue that it was always within the realm of possibility given it's inclusion at the time of signing. The actual reason for me to do so, however, would be to get out of some guaranteed money while the opportunity is there in case something goes very wrong. There is a lot of money and a lot of years still left on that deal.
