We've always had whackadoodles...the scary development is that some of our "normal"neighbors are buying in on a large scale. Frightening revelation...that this group has become more than an amusing story. Isaac is "useful idiot"...most of the hacks speaking get rich from selling this BS to the weak and stupid (who are always looking for someone else to point at), they're all probably like "what the hell is HE doing here?"
What he is doing there is lending apparent legitimacy to the lunatic fringe. Here is this upstanding, Christian, squeaky clean NBA player sharing the stage with a former general who recently advocated a military coup in the United States, and the MyPillow CEO who advocated the imposition of martial law.
You said it yourself, he is likely the "useful idiot". He allows the far right wing to claim they are more mainstream than people think. And like I said in a previous post, anti-vaxxers and anti-kneelers who follow Isaac are prime candidates for targeted information campaigns because they are more likely to believe dark forces (in government, civil rights movements, academia, medicine) are out to get them.

"Useful Idiot" is a political term of art describing someone who is being manipulated to promote a cause without necessarily knowing it. It does not mean the person is an actual idiot.
