Pfff....Jimmy would never attempt that many 3s in a game if he didn't have it going.

but i will take him over tatum and pg.
Whut. Tatum is already better and is 8 years younger.
Tatum is way more talented there is no doubt. Huge Tatum fan and he is getting more consistent everyday. Jimmy is no where that talented but Butler has had the heart... that being said Tatum is developing it and he is player along with Ja that I love. I think they are part of the next fun chapter of the NBA. Loving these Celts right now.

Butler is a star and I've defended his game/persona throughout his career. But that incident was a clear error in judgement on his part. Haslem was in the right and Jimmy himself probably realized that once tempers cooled

Tonight Jimmy saw a bad defence in front of him and he put some fools in the basket, which is great and that's what he should've done, but when things get tight again I think the Heat should go back to sharing the ball more, like they did all year. Because if their game plan becomes "lets see if JB can get 40 again", it's just not gonna work. He's not that type of player.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.
LikeABosh wrote:He's definitely a full tier below the superstars unless you think there are like 15 of them
Not a big deal, really. He and Bam are in that 2nd tier just like Cp3 and Booker are and they've been doing alright (1st seed, finals appearances)

If the thread is a reaction to his point total today then yes, it's reactionary. But Butler has demonstrated a career's worth of star impact, and was the clear best player on a Finals-bound team just 2 years ago

jimmys problem is he needs a team that can match his energy. all the loser teams failed him he is like MJ's forbidden son.
only miami can tame him which is why i root for miami. i would gift jimmy to punch someone just like MJ did it to kerr to make him grow up.
you might call me crazy but jimmy is the only guy i can root for in this league that has old mans game. rest of guys are tissue soft i dont even want to bother watching. if you want to win a title you need jimmys perfectionist attitude otherwise ur just playing for money, fame.
