From the presser immediately after:
"Everyone is made in the image of god and we all share in god's glory"
"Sometimes it gets to a point where we point fingers as to who's evil is worse"
"Racism isn't the only thing in our society that plagues our world"
"We all fall short of god's glory"
... aka all lives matter. It's not deep. It's glossing over the actual issue. It's funny - he never mentioned how standing actually helps black lives but he was pretty adamant that kneeling and wearing a t-shirt didn't help. Neither act "helps" on the micro but one for sure distracted from the actual issue (police brutality) while trying to turn the issue into something to do with religion (aka "everyone has an opportunity to have a relationship with jesus").

That's great and noble and all but his faith blinds him into an "everyone-ism" that ignores society dynamics and power structures which determine which types racism effects an individual vs which effects an entire group of people. Saying "it's all bad just find jesus" helps no one in this reality (the only one we can prove). It's a very lazy way of thinking about racism.
But more importantly - I watched his whole presser and he said nothing about BLM being racist.
