Instead, give them Siakam and take Ayton and how ever many 1st picks Masai can negotiate to even things out. I'd send them 2nd picks in those year so make it look like a swap but the Raptors don't care because they are good at undrafted's.
Once again, flip the 1st picks from Phoenix with FVV plus filler and as many 1st picks as it takes to get Beal.
Siakam saves Sarver no money, might as well just keep Ayton if you're them. I guess we could take back some bad money in the form of Shamet and Saric.
I predict we sign both Boucher and Thad as the defacto offseason and that Malachi gets dealt. Armoni is likely Fred's back-up. I would like to see them backfill three positions with the 33rd pick and maybe sign some undrafted players like big Drew Timme. Not sure if Yuta will still have a home.
I think Flynn is the type of young player that rarely gets dealt because we probably think has more potential than other teams, since we liked him enough to draft him, and nobody is going to be excited about getting him if we're happy to move him, even if he had a nice few game run near the end of the season.
Also really don't think Armoni is seen as being counted on to part of the rotation. Even if we sign Boucher and Thad and even overpay them like say 13 and 10M each in their first years, we still have like 7-9M left under the tax to use and might as well pay a guard like that much, like an Alec Burks (who I would really like here for a 1 year deal), or use the 5M TPE to get one, even if it's just a sleepy reliable veteran Canadian like Cory Joseph or a developmental Canadian like Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
