it’s about creating for others, Siakam did a good job of that when FVV was out. He was a triple double threat, PG doesn’t mean anything. Barnes and Siakam can create for others.
ok rewrite the narrative all you want -- in the history of the nba, name the championship team that didnt have an elite floor general as their point guard.
From lowry to kyrie irving to rajon rondo to derek freaking fisher....blah blah blah blah dumbasses.....

Any LeBron led team, the Warriors, the Spurs, Jordan's Bulls.
Lebron minus Kyrie or wade I’ll give you, I believe that would be one title.
Jordan was a de facto point guard and Paxton was no slouch, hell steve Kerr was a hell of a leader too.
Avery Johnson was a renowned leader; his nickname was “the little GENERAL”

. Tony Parker’s a hall of farmer. What the deuce man.
Fred is an all star, before the injury, by definition, he’s a top 5 point guard and a proven big game player. One does not trade such an asset for bench players and late lottery picks aaaaaaand keep their job.
There are very few realistic scenarios where we trade Fred and aren’t significantly worse.
Wanna know why, because the point guard position is and has aaaaaaaallllways been the most important position in the game.
