I don’t love Bags, but honestly, assuming he’s at least 5 million a year cheaper, I’d rather have him than Robinson. Particularly with Stewart around, who better get 25+ minutes to continue developing.
What do honestly see Stewart developing into? Aron Baynes? I honestly don't understand the commitment to him. Solid hard nose guy but I wouldn't bat an eye if he was traded.

A reliable three changes his game dramatically. With your defensive center playing a corner on offense, it opens up so many options for Cade. Lob to the 4 (Bagley, Banchero, whatever), cuts from the 2 (Sharpe, Ivey, Diallo), etc.
Stewart, despite his size, is an above average defensive center that’s average on the boards. He’s also one of the better switching centers on D, a tier below Robert Williams and Bam, but very good. He’s fine on that end, tho we need a better rebounder than Grant playing the four when Stewart is out there. But on offense, he’s currently very limited because he can’t just stand in the lob catcher spot, and despite his solid screens, he doesn’t have the hands or pop to do much on the roll. His post game will never be great because he’s short and has limited lift. A three that must be respected, tho… that changes everything.
I’m not saying we should plan on Stewart at center going forward without considering options. If we can get Ayton, I’m fine with him heading the other way. But signing meh centers with our cap space just to eat Stew’s minutes is not a plan I like. Mitch is meh. He looks better than he is because of the blocks and high FG%. He’s an extremely limited offensive player and a block-chaser.
