His rebounding, defense, and hustle was the 2nd most important factor in that win.

Just like KD's 49 point triple double to beat the Bucks by himself, Giannis' 50 point to close the series to win the chip, LeBron's 45 to avoid elimination and save his legacy in 2012 ecf game 6, this the Curry legacy performance we have all been waiting for. Last year, he completely refuted the allegations about him can't be a whole team carrier but this series just stamping this fact on his legacy. All time great performance by an all time great.

Floody100 wrote:Absolutely mind boggling that the Celtics continue to play drop coverage against Steph & Klay on 3’s considering its basically became an open lay up for them both. I don’t know if it’s the coaches decision but seeing Horford consistently start to peddle back while guarding nobody when either one of them gets around the screen is excruciating to watch as a Celtics fan.

Obviously not for Steph so far this series, but Klay has been bricking (one hot game notwithstanding). I don't think they should drop on Curry ever, but daring Klay to take his shots when he's missing has worked pretty well so far.

Also Warriors can't win without Draymond. Kerr benching him was clearly the wrong decision! If you disagree you also don't know basketball.

Warriors can win without KD though. Anyone who disagrees doesn't understand basketball.

Warriors will be exposed if they don’t win this series without KD

Agreed. Wiggins was the difference.

The classic try and find whatever means possible to not credit Curry, lol.

Wiggins was great, but saying he was "the" reason as if another guy didn't drop 43 is funny

Did you watch the game? Wiggins was part of every play when they went like 8 point shift. Curry was 2-4 when it mattered on the 4th and padded his numbers a bit in the end when it was over.
Combine this all with elite defense all game long.
All these "when it matters" ridiculousness. Warriors aren't in the position to win if Curry doesn't do what he did the first three quarters. All of Wiggins great plays are for naught if Curry doesn't have his big 3rd quarter. Celtics trying to double Curry is what helped Looney get the layup late to put them up 5.

Wiggins had a great game, but he wasn't the reason they won, he was a reason. That's just a statement being made to try to make it seem like Curry didn't do some serious heavy lifting.

Huge choke by the Celtics tonight. Could cost them the series.

Props to the Dubs. Great comeback.

I suppose it is impressive that they got to the finals with him being so unclutch

team effort with very weak competition in the east. boston's #1 team defense is a far bigger factor than anything tatum provides. only got past the bucks barely due to their 2nd best player being out.

heat are a decent team but not a typical finals contender and he was still thoroughly outplayed and dominated by jimmy butler who was a far superior player.

He's been a negative in this game. His impact defensively hasn't made up for his utter ineptitude on offense.

Okay, try playing without him for an entire half and then come back to me with "can't play him in the second half". We saw what not having him around for most of the season did to the Warriors. Again, stop.

No, we can't. He is clogging the paint worse than a 1995 chevy blazer.

Lmao I don't care. Warriors aren't doing dick without Draymond. Stop pretending that him not playing somehow gives them a better chance.

Alright guys, take your shots. Arms are open and I'm ready for the bullets.

It's crazy expectations.

I don't care about poor shooting but his terrible decision making and terrible shot selection. You can't have that no matter how young you are.

Sure. Both true. I'm just saying that not everyone will step up facing the nerves and weighty pressure of such a situation for the first time. If anything, you expect mistakes even in fundamentals or with mental errors. It can't happen but it does. How players handle new situations, how they step up, how they adjust is what makes a series exciting.

Best one in a while - no favorite - just a all time defense against a all time great team led by one of the best ever

Boston can’t be play better defense - no one can

This guy will never ever say anything positive about Curry and will always try to find some obscure reason to throw shade. Its now at a very weird point..

Jesus freaking Christ...

Some of you guys are absolutely ridiculous. The only reason they were even in this game to begin with is because Curry had one of the best games of his career. Like, I dislike certain players too, but at a certain point, respect the game. Or why are you even watching?

Hey, you know how it is, padding those numbers by making free throws at the end of the game, because in a 5 point game with 48 seconds left, the FT's made are just stat padding.

It's just wild to find a way to twist everything for some narrative, people can't even enjoy watching basketball, have to be figuring out a way to hate on this or that guy or prop up this or that guy at every turn.

Who wouldn't? Browns been their star all series

Guess y’all forgetting about Butler getting swept against the Bucks 2 playoffs ago while averaging 14 points on 29% shooting.

Even though Tatum is struggling, he still has never put up a stinker like Butler.

A typical Celtic fan that will bring up two seasons ago when the Heat came off a Finals appearance with only a month's rest.

Jimmy played badly during that series (everyone has a playoff stinker) and the whole Heat collectively. But I would still pick Jimmy over Tatum right now fr.
