Worst/Negative Contracts Ranking
How would people rank the following contracts in order of least trade value to most (no 1 is worst)
Wall 1 yr 47M left
Westbrook 1 yr 47M left
Harris 2 yr 79.5M left
Porzingis 2 yr 70M left
Thompson 2 yr 84M left
Hayward 2 yr 61.5M left + trade kicker
Bertans 2 yr 33M + 5 mil partial guaranteed 3rd year
Robinson 3 yr 55M left + 10 mil partial guaranteed 4th year
Randle 3 yr 77M left + 30M PO + trade kicker
MPJ 4 yr 145M left + 12M partial guaranteed 5th year (39M if guaranteed)
Above isnt my personal ranking btw, just a list in no particular order

I think MPJ is the worst. Not sure he will ever play a healthy season.

Harris, Thompson and Hayward are three best guys when they play IMO and 2 year deal is pretty stomachable for an acquiring team. Test them for a year and if they don't work out they at least have some value as an expiring and you can roll the dice again.
I don't even hate Randle talent, just his contract really limits what you can do for so long and it is harder to flip if things don't work out.

Re: Worst Contracts Ranking
Would either side entertain a Wall for MPJ deal? Seems like a decent way for Denver to clear cap space in advance of Jokic's supermax extension and Houston to gamble on adding a really good young player for nothing if he can stay healthy.

Is KP 10th on your list (since he didn't make it)?

Yeah he isn't considered a negative contract yet i can promise you their are teams that would be interested in trading for him and giving up a few things. Hawks more than likely being one of them if they do a full check and deem him ok going forward.

If you make it MPJ and Murry for Wall, Wood, and Tate, plus Milwaukee and Brooklyn firsts, I'm down. You could talk me into giving up the 3rd overall pick this year, but I don't think the 3rd is super useful for Denver and I'd want more in exchange for taking back the long term MPJ contract.
The John Wall contract isn't the worst thing in the world for the Rockets... we aren't a couple free agent signings away from contention. $50 million going to a guy riding the pine and behaving himself, and the Rockets will still struggle to pare down the roster. The guys fighting for the last spot are Gleague MVP's and such. The Westbrook contract is killing the Lakers, in contrast.
