I hope so. But we would have to move up between 12-18 range in the 1st round. Not sure we have the assets to do that unless it's Pritchard or Nesmith and a future number 1 or two future 2nd rounders.

All 4 of these guys would likely be in our rotation from day 1 next season IMO.
I doubt that all 4 of them are available but at least 1 of them should be.

Some guy on YouTube was talking about this and mentioned Christian Koloko, Andrew Nembhard, Braun and a couple of others..

That's who I would be looking at for 28th. Koloko and Newbhard.
Then maybe EJ Liddell if available, Justin Lewis, Ron Harper Jr, Kendall Brown, Braun, Jaylin Williams
and Trevor Keels.

Koloko has nice defensive instincts and timing, but I don't think he can switch on the perimeter, his team played him in drop coverage.

That would be an issue because he wouldn't get much playing time if that's the case, the way our defense is set up.

At 53 I'm taking Jaylin Williams, Vince Williams, Keon Ellis. Surely one is there. Keon Ellis is a two way wing and he has that BDE too. Imagine if this team finally drafted someone who understood what a cut to the basket is. He'll go undrafted and sign with the Heat and be a 28 minute/g player in the playoffs.
Tari Eason is going to have a better NBA career than Jabari Smith and Paolo Banchero.
AJ Griffin is just a worse Aaron Nesmith. How is he mocked higher than Christian Braun, who is more athletic and better at every aspect of the game? Unfortunate the Celtics do no have a late first, if Braun is there that's an easy draft.
Glad to see I'm not alone on the Vince Williams train. Top 7 rotation for a playoff team is very high bar to clear though. Especially for a lower pick that's not going to get force fed minutes from day 1 to accelerate his development.
I'm not sold on Jabari Smith either. I haven't seen a ton from him admittedlyt but what I've seen is just a bunch of tough shots (or some pull up threes in transition). Power to him for hitting those but I worry about guys that can't create separation in college. It doesn't seem like he did much playmaking either. I honestly feel like I'm watching a 6'10 3&D guy and not a number one draft pick. I know way less than the NBA front office so I must be missing something and I guess I'll find out soon enough.
Smith’s going to be a top flight scorer. Has everything to score 20 ppg+ in nba. Is he Tatum? No idea.
That said, for Celtics ear 53? Take a stash.
Then, since there are only 5 more picks, go get an UDFA like Tyrese Martin, Gillespie and 3 and D type players.
Stupid to take a guy at 53 that you have ti sign now. Take a mader/begarin euro. Then keep the roster spot open for an Udfa.

I wonder if Brad is indicating that he's looking for a 6'8" wing.
