I'd still say he's comfortably the 5th most reliable playoff piece on the roster. The Sixers have been the anti-Grizzlies in terms of depth. I'd raid them for more talent if possible.
Yeah, I mean just look at the stats. Don't need blog posts for validation. He's awful offensively in the playoffs. Just like Matisse has been. So if you're wasting a first rounder that you could have used to build for the next phase of Embiid career to maximize this current iteration, it's probably not a smart move.
De'Anthony Melton shooting 30% from three and having 6'8" wings shoot over his tiny self isn't going to help us advance in the playoffs.
