He’s available

There are a ton of names on that list that I'd love to see brought into camp and sent to the Ants or earning a two way. T Williams, Butler, Lewis, Barlow, Foster, Samar, Cockburn to name a few.

It just wasn't a night for big veteran moves. I would assume that there will be much more movement in July with the potential movement of Kyrie, Durant, and many others.

Which way are you leaning ?

Pacers take on salary dumps to be in better position next off season

Or

They make meaningful sign and trades in free agency possibly unloading Brogdon, McConnell, or Turner.

Personally I don’t see how they can dump Turner until the trade deadline but think they’ll move Brogdon soon.

Hard to say. We’ll probably start hearing rumors in the next 2-3 days. But either way, the huge dominos (KD, Kyrie, Lavine, Beal, etc) have to fall before teams move on to the Brogdon’s and Turner’s. I think we all see this team needs wings though. Badly.

Warren is also a big domino for us. and Brunson goes on the list too as the Knicks want to take a run at him before talking to us.

I am definitely not unhappy with Mathurin given the choices that were available at the time. I had my eye on Murray; but, alas, it wasn't meant to be.

I thought, perhaps, this was the time we might see Brogdon dealt, but I am hopeful for the future on that front.

From Jeremy Woo of SI. I read him, but am always unsure of how plugged in he is.

The one Kings rumor I heard from several rival teams on the day of the draft surrounded a possible swap with the Pacers, who sat at No. 6 and were rumored to be offering Chris Duarte in addition to that pick. My understanding was that when those teams negotiated the Domantas Sabonis-Tyrese Haliburton swap in February, Indiana had little interest in including Duarte at all. It was also well-known how much the Pacers coveted Murray—something the Kings certainly suspected—so trading back with Indiana would have meant taking a different player.

The rumors about the Pacers are always very worrisome. In terms, there never seems like there is a direction for the team. From running it back with the same team back to back years, bringing in Nate Bjorkgren and firing him after one season, going all-in on Rich Carlisle, only adding Duarte and Torrey Craig and making a run for the playoffs, to tearing it down a bit and dropping into the lottery, to a total rebuild (Brogdon and Turner potential trades) to maybe them staying, now this report on Duarte..... i'm a big believer in Kevin Pritchard but maybe he is the one whos got to go next?

Never knowing a direction of the team and not committing to one direction or another, will only lead the Pacers to being stuck in purgatory.

I highly doubt they were willing to give up Duarte to move up to #4

I didn't get the sense that Mathurin was a consolation prize at all. I think they were very comfortable staying at #6 and picking the BPA. Murray might have been a better fit position wise, but I don't think there was an outsized interest in him over Mathurin; not to the extent that they were willing to offer Duarte anyway

Duarte is very good. He's a great shooter and good defender who can create his own shot. And he delivers in the clutch too

Mathurin should be great for the team anyway

If I'm being optimistic, the Haliburton-Duarte-Mathurin trio is basically Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, Jimmy Butler in the making

To me, I’m seeing some of the same “lack of direction, but just focus on competitive” for 30 years and 3 GM’s now. I’m pretty sure it’s a Simon thing, not a Pritchard thing. But I agree on the general theme.

per Kravitz on theAthletic:

Said Carlisle: “These three guys in my mind represent what we want to be. We want to be versatile. Kendall (Brown) is a 3-4. Benn is a 2-3. Andrew a 1-2.
