It depends where you're standing. Standing pat as the Spurs makes a lot of sense. Standing pat as anyone else becomes questionable. Standing pat as a team outside the playoffs is probably not advisable.

I like how everyone that doesn't want us to stand pat, but you don't just make moves to make moves. Overpay role players when you're a contender. Not now.
My preference would be for small moves, or taking chances on some younger players like we did with Plumlee and Green. With the right mix of small moves, we could become a 50 win team, with cap space and three draft picks next year. What more could a free agent ask for? You could go after Marc Gasol, Kevin Love, or LaMarcus Aldridge. Or, depending on the progress our own players make, you extend them and spend smaller amounts on tier 2 and 3 free agents.
