2) Unlike Gilbert, Rose is actually capable of playing through an injury. He doesn't miss entire seasons for some b.s. reason. Rose proclaimed himself healthy to the media some random day late December, and since then we've tracked his statistics: He's basically been 23, 6, and 4 on over .560 TS% and a PER of 21-22. That stat line puts him in the same sentence as Brandon Roy and a sophomore Dwayne Wade, not a washed up Gilbert.

No, we've always claimed they've sucked, and the statistics prove it. Kirk Hinrich and his TS% of of 50.1% sure do a lot for the Bulls. Most of us didn't even expect to make the playoffs, but yeah keep stereotyping all Bulls fans

If it's ok to judge Arenas performance based on 32 games last season, it should be ok to do that to Rose post all star break. It doesn't matter. 28 games is still not a large enough sample size. If we're using selective games to pick out, we should use Rose's last 54 games where he played injury free..23 6 and 4 on better efficiency, better PER and on a better team is better than anything Gil did this season

You can put me in the Rose is overated camp. He is certainly a good player, but I think he is fool's gold as far as a franchise guy. He reminds me a ton of Steve Francis, and Stevie was a much better defender. I think he picked up a ton of hype coming from being the number one guy in a very weak draft and sustained it by being high usage and flashy.

When I watch him play I see a guy who will flourish in his youth but falter after he starts losing his athleticism and quickness. I dont think he is smart or basketball savy enough to adjust his game.

In my opinion, he is the fifth best PG in the league but the gap between him and tier above (Nash, Dwill, Rondo, C3) is much larger than the tier below (Billups, Brooks, Curry, Westbrook)

Not the greatest stats from a PG but Rose does show up in the playoffs. He really needs to improve his perimeter shot and try and limit his turnovers in order for Chicago to be successful.

If you’re comparing him to Steve Francis with a brain, I could see that. That player would have been awesome.

His attitude really separates him from the Marburys and Franciseseses moreso than his skillset.
