Cejudo, Usman, and JG aren't short on money. And it's no coincidence that they're each in favour of homegrown strongman wannabes as well. They're just immoral ****.

Between this and the FBI investigating the UFC, feels like things are finally cracking.

Good riddance.

In most sports/public businesses, a president doing this on video would have immediate repercussions including their likely removal, but a large portion MMA’s base is not the type to condemn this, if not outright defend it.

Also not surprising Dana hits his wife, guys a scumbag

They're pretty dependent on the ESPN deal.

Phil Baroni just got arrested for murder, think this sports' wake is going to get better? These men are chewed up, spit out and thrown back into society to fend for themselves and they're not getting paid in the process.

Bonnar and Baroni both ending up as they have, it's not a good look. Both dudes did ridiculous amounts of PEDs and took a lot of head trauma. Then, no support.

Also, they're *dangers* to society. Bonnar had a ridiculous DUI where he was practically comatose from pain pills. Now, Baroni has killed someone.

So *someone* is fitting the bill for their terrible post-career health. It's just not the UFC. (Private enterprise strategy in a nutshell... exploit the **** out of humans and the earth, defer the cleanup to public institutions).

Not a huge thing but even ilia got in a fight at some bar. Good start of the year for ufc.

Like I said no response yet on Dana. Pathetic responses from guys like Brett no smokeo’motto and Kevin lole who basically just wrote a piece praising Dana. Even tmz headline was trash because they’re in business.
Ufcs statement was “refer to tmz article”

Then you got half the fans and trash guys like Jamal hill saying it was justified.

This sport is filled with the lowest forms of life from top to bottom. From Dana the the fans.

How do we predict what happens to Jon Jones once his gifts leave him? Where's the repercussions for him for him beating the **** out of his wife?

Dana to be cancelled? Nah. This is a full PR spinjob from the jump as Ariel went over. Released during a huge MNF game, and the lead wasn't "Dana slaps the sh*t out of his wife" it was "Dana apologizes". They let them come in and whitewash it before the footage was even released. Then the ESPN guys like Brett Okamato try to bury this news on their timelines by literally tweeing other sh*t ONE MINUTE after tweeting the Dana news and other ESPN color guys can't even discuss it without prefacing every other comment with how much they love Dana. Finally, the other "reporters" like Iole propose that he take a month break? LOL it's not like he attends every event to begin with.

Even the idiots who say it's okay because she slapped him first are wrong. You can see him squeezing her hands before she slaps him. The hand squeeze is a way for the abuser to inflict pain upon the abused discreetly when in public.

You're right. It could be taught in media literacy classes for high schoolers. The Fox headline includes the excuse, "alcohol-fuelled slapping incident".

Guys I was totally wrong. Huge punishments for Dana. His power slap league has been delayed ONE WHOLE WEEK. What a stance by TBS.

Lol cowards. Just like the espn journalists told not to write about it. All spineless.

I hadn't known that was a thing.

(To be clear I was never defending Dana in any way).

He seems to be making the case for a more extreme punishment. If he's like 'docking my work and pay can't hurt me, Im rich as ****', then perhaps the punishment should be calibrated so that it actually hurts him. This is how it works in negligence lawsuits against business corporations -- the monetary punishment scales to what will hurt them.
