This is not a playoff ready team. Another terrible start against a bad team.
Good luck against the Knicks. Easy out

Disney are playing pretty good bball for a while.
In fact, they're playing better than they probably did during last six or seven years.
Maybe Wagners' bros ludicrous fights at the locker room helped to build (finally!) some team chemistry.
Goga is a misunderstood poor man Jokic and still he manages to bring some decent stuff at court.
Banchero is the kind of player capable to take advantage of his own mistakes (a very unusual and deceptive skill)
Even Fultz looking like an actual human being instead a half re-animated zombie.
I guess we'll improve our awareness about what they are doing to us and turn the tides from now on.
Or wishful thinking.

Win 50. Home court locked up. Cavs desperately need Okoro back. Rest everyone for the rest of the season.
Donovan Mitchell is amazing.

I feel like our ability to close tied games is getting visibly better.

I know this comment was made when we were losing by 9 or so, but I’m still not overly afraid of the Knicks.
Can they beat us in a series? Yes.
But, I’d have us 4/5 times probs. We will see in two-three weeks who gets to the second round.

It’s super frustrating watching the Cavs come out slow every game and get jumped by bad teams. Yea you can eventually grind down bad teams and outlast them but getting down double digits in the playoffs, on the road? Can’t have that

The Magic aren't a bad team. Winning record after their guards got healthy.

When we're protecting the paint at the cost of protecting the 3pt line it's going to be a predictable pattern, especially in the playoffs because teams that start off shooting hot and/or making incredible shots tend to end up clanking shots off the front rim as the intensity of the game grinds their legs down. Albeit, one thing Okoro does for us is cover a lot of ground to contest shots.
I'm still primarily concerned with DG. By the numbers he's going to end up with another fantastic season, but I think he's been struggling from a string of injuries starting with getting blinded in game 1. When his shooting is on, it just makes everything else that much easier for him.
Jarrett Allen was +18 in this game, makes a difference having him back.

They still have a negative net rating with Markelle healthy, their offense is below average. Defense is pretty decent.
If you don't think they're bad, that's fine but they certainly aren't good and the Cavs should have come out firing knowing the stakes (lock up homecourt & 50 wins). Instead of getting jumped and then having to grind their way back in the game

Orlando had a 5-game winning streak at home that included Miami, Brooklyn, and New York-- all teams with definite stakes on the line in similar games. Can we be happy that we have the capability to grind our way back into games? Their baskets went in early. It happens. We showed resilience and the ability to win in the clutch on the road at the end of a game in a LOUD building. Plenty happy about that.
