Game #5: LAC (3-1) @ LAL (2-2) WED 11/1 7PM—ESPN
Too much too soon. I'd much rather this take place next week after both sides find out who they are.
No matter. Bring it on. This'll be fun. Lakers are the "home" team. Let's shove another one up their a̸s̸s̸

Statement game if Clippers win, while load managing Kawhi (he should sit out imho), and short handed.
Lakers barely beat the Magic, while Clips whooped them with Kawhi playing like complete dog ****. I want to see Kobe Brown get at least 24 mins, and both Bones and Powell get at least 28 mins, with Kawhi out. Btw whats Mann's ETA?
Also this is the minutes breakdown when Harden and PJ are integrated in by 11/6/2023 and everyone on the roster is healthy
C - Zubac (24), Plumlee (24)
PF- Kawhi (20), Mann (16), KobeB (12)
SF- PG13 (30), Kawhi (10), Mann (8)
SG- Harden (10), Powell (22), Bones (16)
PG- Westy (28), Harden (20)
When one of the top 4 players are load managing, then all the role players minutes increase to compensate. Powell, Bones, Mann, and KobeB all get a solid bump in mins. Have Bones get the backup PG mins when one of Harden or Westy are load managing. I feel the Clipper role players are pretty damn solid and they're looking pretty good so far early in the season and i want them to get more mins so that the top 4 guys dont get as much wear and tear.

Good minutes list but you forgot PJ Tucker who will get ~20 mpg.

Westbrook is definitely going to come with some energy in this one. Hopefully it is contained energy not a wild high turnover game type energy.
Not sure about Kawhi playing tonight though, he was a bit "slow" last night, looks like the game every other day so far is already getting to him, but hopefully he found some recovery method to help him out.

The spread changed favorably for the Lakers overnight so Leonard and/or PG are resting.

My friend is a fan of all LA teams gets tickets through his job, and now I'm going. I'll be in my Clipper gear no doubt!

Had a feeling they wouldn't sit against the Lakers

fLakers are 3.5 favorites. The gambling degenerates do not believe, but I do. We continue our win streak over the fLakers and Anthony Davis bumps into someone, falls to the floor with a grade 1 ingrown toenail, taken out on a stretcher - 15 day disabled list.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

Clips will win -- keep that streak alive to 12 straight
Be interesting to see how Tucker plays..
I think in general, he'll fit in pretty well and take the Marcus Morris role that Morris used to be known for, but be more balanced and less offensive output.

If PJ can still just box out, he's already better than everybody we traded away.

Right after the trade with a B2B upon us minus 4 power forwards, I wouldn’t have been mad had we lost both games. But at least we got PJ tonight and we gotta keep our Laker streak going, so let’s go!!

WTF PJ Tucker is playing? Goddamn.... i mean, i personally would rather go with Kobe Brown to see what he's got. I guess we'll find out early if Uncle PJ is washed or not.
Bones starting too? That's odd, not sure how i feel about a Westy/Bones starting backcourt. Would rather start Powell with Westy and save Bones for bench firepower.

Nice to see Leonard bounce back from last nights shooting.

All that work and to let them get b2b 3’s.
Lue needs to stop resting Leonard and PG at the same time.

It's crazy how hard it can be to sustain that energy after a huge early lead like this. Gotta maintain or extend the lead going into halftime.
