He’s a long ways off but you can see a glimmer of what they saw in this kid when they drafted him

Walsh was the 2nd best option available for Boston. GG Jackson was/is my number 1. But still..

1000 jumpers a day, every day, with a good shooting coach. 500 free throws too. Then he could become an NBA player.

Let me add that I think he has a hitch in his stroke.

Don't quote me on this, but pretty sure the Celtics staff mentioned cleaning up a couple of technical issues on his jumper. I'm hoping that means he HAD a hitch, but doesn't HAVE a hitch...

Wouldn't surprise me. The jumper in that video looks smoother than it did in HS/college, that's for sure.

I saw an article a few months ago that talked about a skills trainer he worked with a lot last spring/summer who may have helped him with his shot too.

Watching GG against the Bucks made me a little regretful we didn’t draft him. That said, Walsh looks like a plus athlete out there….kind of like my impression of RW as a rookie. GG vs JW will be a very interesting debate in 2-3 years. I like them both.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

Me too. After Jaquez went before #25 and Brad traded back for more 2nds, I was hoping to get 2 of Walsh, GG Jackson, or Gueye.

Jordan and GG would have been a nice pair to bring aboard, but like Walsh, Jackson would likely not see minutes on the Celtics this year. Him going at the Bucks like that makes me wonder, though.

In the month of March:

Jordan Walsh 2 pts 1 rbs 1 ast

The guy I wanted the Celtics to draft:

G.G. Jackson 18.7 pts 4.6 reb 1.5 ast

:banghead:

Sure he would not be playing but the talent would be there.

Give Walsh the benefit of the doubt.

Walsh will be a different player in 2026.

I like Walsh and his potential but I also wanted GG....

Actually think he has All Star potential 3 to 5 years down the road
