Felt like Wright made the run all by himself, but yeah those were the 5 on the floor. Would have liked to see Niko in there instead of Martin to give ourselves atleast 1 more 3pt threat. Duncan seems too much of a defensive liability to be on the floor at the same time as Tyler.

I know this is one bad game, and I hope he plays better in the next few games.
My opinion of him is probably not going to change. He can bring the ball as a PG, and he's also not good enough to be a starting SG.
He's a 6th man who makes too much money and, unfortunately, has very little trade value around the league.

Always been my issue with him. He’d look great in another uniform, though nothing about his game says Miami heat

Knicks may be able to take them.

Don't think so, if we don't get them by some miracle, these guys are going to the finals.

Ok, they're have a good defense, solid outside shooting and Brunson.

The only Achillies heal for Boston is how many 3s they shoot when they are talented enough to get some easier baskets. It only takes them 1 or 2 cold games from 3 where they lose to make them have to win 4 of 6 or 4 of 5 to win the series when they aren't bad from 3.

Unless these other teams show us something, Denver is still the favorite in my eyes. That’s a complete basketball team right there.

i'm gonna watch all the games but regardless this series are going to be a sweep in favor of the celtics.

talent is not there, high bball IQ is not there, miscues abound and coaching leaves much to be desired. after this is over top management should blow it up. the mentality that the heat can cruise through the regular season has to go too.

as a fan i cant stand the mediocrity that is on display. its bad, you cant put a lipstick on a pig

I only bring this one up because if I remember correctly didn't Miami say Booker was the pick if Winslow didn't slide?

We never worked out Winslow. We should have never drafted him and stick to who we worked out. Might be why we passed on that other rookie that tumbled this year too. Forgot his name, rockets picked him up; super athletic.

This room wanted Sam Dekker (one of the many mythical stretch four this room forever wants.)

As for as this game, Spo needs better game plan. The 3 points attempts need to be reversed. Every game we should be + 10 - 15 in 3 point attempts. We are still likely to loose but its better than this.
And the message to Herro and everyone, you get a semi open 3. Dont think just pull up and shoot. Herro started doing it in the 4th but next game it should be all game. And if Duncan can go he needs to play a ton of mins

We have the slowest pace in the association as that is the key behind our fake top-5 defense. That means we have to be precise on offensive possessions and that means practically no chucking. Herro is on the wrong team here; he'd play great on the pacers or warriors or some other high paced, high octane offense.

I'd rather start Duncan. Wright isn't a great shooter. He'll go back to being cold. Duncan needs to play 30 + mins if he can. And I'd to have on the floor at the same time as Herro to alleviate the pressure on Herro. Jrue and White are man handling. Take one of them off him Herro to cover Duncan. And Herro got a chance on a switch against other defenders

Wright is making a lot of 3s this game though :)

And if we are putting Duncan in the starting line up, it needs to be iin place of Tyler

Tyler had been a little better in the 4th quarter but Celtics seems to let off the gas ever so slightly nearing the end of the game, though. 4th quarter was the production that we needed in the 1st quarter from herro. Disagree or agree, Kevin love should’ve played more in this game?

Yeah celts took foot of the gas. But the game plan in 4th was better than in 1st. We took primarily 3 point shots which is what we should be doing all game

I've never been a fan of shorter-than-height wingspans. Never. They usually fail at becoming stars unless they're freak athletes. I wasn't upset at the Winslow pick, but I was concerned about how far he dropped. When coach k yapped about "he's dwade", I believed him, stupidly. Never again. Draft the players you workout.

I was fine with the Herro pick because I thought he was going to be used as some lights out shooter and not some wannabe point guard. Can't be a point guard if you can't penetrate defenses, can't penetrate defenses with short arms unless you're a freak athlete, and that ain't Herro.

Have to respect what Boston's front office has done. Going out there and adding to a team that was obviously us. Miami on the other hand. Our additions were aging Kyle Lowry, injured goods in Oladipo, old igoudala, old PJ Tucker, old Trevor Ariza, an inefficient Rozier to fill a scoring void for us.

Fun fact look at most of the playoffs teams and see the type of talent they added from outside.

Boston- Jrue and Porzingis
NY- OG and Bogdanovic
Milwaukee- Dame
Cleveland- Donovan Mitchell
Indiana- Siakam
Orlando- young team and first time back in the playoffs in some time.
Philly- originally added Harden and the trade didn't give time to make another splash

OKC-young team. First time back in the playoffs in a while.
Denver- outlier. Team is just ridiculously good.
Minnesota- Gobert
Clippers- Harden and made a push for westbrook when he still had juice left as a buyout option
Dallas- Kyrie and PJ Washington
Phoenix- KD, Beal, Nurkic
Lakers- basically same situation as the Heat.
Pelicans- another young team.

It hasn't worked out for all these teams but at least they're constantly trying to bring in real help.

Biggest reason why I wish KD was here instead of Phoenix. Perfect fit. Super efficient. Engine on offense and can play in a slow pace offense. Solid fit the at 4 next to Bam.

Yep. And the defense gonna look ugly if Celts make easy layups. Either way, we are likely to get blown out. That's how over matched we are. But we have a shot if we can get hot from 3s and take way more attempts than they do.
Winning the 3 point battle by a lot is the only way we can win. Only way.
