Doncic played 45 minutes in game 4 with +10 in +/- column, which means Mavs managed somehow to have -15 in these 3 minutes Luka didn't play. But once you lose it is easy to blame the franchise player. Doncic was awful 1-9 from threes but 29-10-10 TD is not bad at all.

The good part is that he is just 25 and has done some incredible things with all of his bad qualities. Most players have to be defeated to improve. Very few were able to win straight away.

Luka's been off his game but part of that has been that the Clips defense this series is locked in on him.

He's the only guy on either team to have a positive +/- in each of the 4 games played so far.

The primary thing IMO that Luka needs to do better in this series is move the ball a bit more when you are getting so much defensive attention and/or you don't have it going. Jokic is the master of that.

He seems a bit gimpy but he can still play smarter. The foul trouble hurt him badly today, especially at the end when he was afraid to play defense so he wouldn't foul out.

Officials allowing more physicality impacts Luka because he is so good at keeping defenses at a distance by drawing fouls on them if they get in his grill too much.

I've seen this happen a bit with SGA too

Luka just needs to have a normal game. Ref 100% are letting Terrance Mann be extra physical with him which is making him play more frustrated. He needs to Get over it though.

But his knees are screwed. I’m still trying to understand how is his knee bleeding if he has all of the padding he wears. Where is the blood coming from??? Would love to see what his knees look like because both keep bleeding in game and they are covered.

He's shooting under 39% from the field in this series and completely gassed out in crunch time tonight. Kyrie kept them in the game while Luka was chucking up garbage and getting hunted relentlessly on defense.

He's been hurt and Russell Westbrook aggravated the injury in game 3. But even so, it's not even the Luka minutes that have hurt them. And he's actually right about how much the refs suck

He is clearly hurt while also logging the second-most minutes per game in the playoffs after logging the second-most minutes in the regular season. Kidd has to make adjustments to handle it better when they try to switch Luka.
He also getting fouled a lot, like Mann putting two hands on him. I was not aware that was allowed.
