So any of you guys living in Dallas know anything about Dak's sexually assault trial that I was reading about and informed of yesterday? Case is being transferred to a different county and she is asking for 100 mill in damages.

Here is the latest. She dropped the case in Dallas County and refiled the case in Collin County (slightly north of Dallas). He filed a defamation case against her in Collin County.

Honestly it sounds like a money grab.

The only QB on the planet that is head and shoulders better than Dak right now is Mahomes.

You can look at Allen, Hurts, Herbert, etc and declare they are better but the difference isn't extreme at all. Your talking marginal.

You want to draft Mahomes and that is a damn fantasy.

Not sure about anyone else's top list, but I have at least 10 QB's ahead of Dak that I would rather have. Should we start a current top 10 QB list in the general to see how many times your boy makes the list? Your going to be disappointed.

Dak has no real in incentive to do so. Play the year out and hit the open market. If he can get at least 2 teams bidding for him he could likely hit $65M-$70M per season.

Will he get $60M? Maybe. But I'd be surprised if he got north of that number. He would definitely land more guaranteed money if he hit free agency.

Franchise QBs don't typically make it to free agency. You would have to sign a stop gap & draft his replacement.

Will he get $60M? Maybe. But I'd be surprised if he got north of that number. He would definitely land more guaranteed money if he hit free agency.

If he gets $60M… it’ll be after the season and somewhere else. If the reports here are true that they are “talking” with one another then I damn near believe we’ll hear of a deal in the next 2 weeks and it’ll be tethered with a deal for Cee Dee..

The two teams that immediately come to mind (besides the Cowboys) that will likely make a bid for Dak would be the Raiders and Giants. Also keep in mind we’re talking about next offseason when there will be another round of QB’s also getting paid. Dak getting $70M is not out of the realm of possibilities.

Definitely not getting a franchise QB in free agency. It will have to be someone out of the draft. Their best bet (in my opinion) would be to build up the OL and running game and start drafting a QB every year or every other year. If a 1st round guy is there that you like then great but I would specifically be looking in rounds 2-5. Just start churning these guys out until you find one that can play well.

Oh and expect this process to take about 5 years max.
