I think AD and Lively comes back first. Gaff... not so sure about that. Maybe if they make the playoffs.

I think so... But for how many games?

2 year window and 1 is almost over.
What a brillant mastermind Nico.

I'm glad the Lakers won.

Go Luka!!! Go Lakers!

The site of Nico Harrison disgusts me.

Lakers will have problems with the Doncic - Reeves backcourt. Defensively.

I think Reeves gets shipped out for a better fitting piece.

Postgame press conference, the look on Luka's face is he likes these guys better than those new guys he's hanging with right now.

But like an employee who's paid to work, he's showing up in their new office.

Nico you god damn tone deaf SOB.

On the flip side, I'm happy for Luka business-wise. LA is a major market and his new Jordan commercial is nice. He'll sell a lot of merch over there and grow his brand better.

PJ Washington going for 0 points, with AD, Gaff and Lively out, in a game you lose by 8 pts.

Winnable game for me. They just need to get those guys back.

If PJ gets more games like this, he's getting sent out with a package for KD in the summer.

Winnable game against a team, who has shot 27% for 3. Normally you should win games like that, especially if your opponent doesn't have Cs as well.

Lakers have top D in the league after AD injured himself and didn't play anymore in LA. Reaves is not going anywhere, unless Nico makes another impossible to refuse offer. Lively and PJ for Reaves.

Mavs problem is obvious and that won't change with bigs coming back. Players outside Kyrie don't create enough and that will become even more obvious in playoffs, when scoring is more difficult and teams main goal will be stopping Kyrie.

Not sure if it was mentioned before, but does AD have bad blood with Pelinka too for trading him without telling him?

This is a Mavericks board. Not a Lakers fan board.

Since you now started rooting for the Lakers, you will fit very well with that franchise since 90% of them are glory hunters.

They love Reeves and signed him to cheap contract. Don't think they'll trade him, they have other assets to get a rim protector, then they'll be dangerous as hell. I'm not sure even Mavs with all their insane front court will be able to match them. And i still do believe a healthy Mavs team is better than anyone when it comes to center/wing rotation. But Lakers with Vando/DFS/Rui/Lebron and a proper center will be also insane.

Funny thing is that Reaves is exactly the player Mavs would need desperately.

The Lakers are similar to OKC if they get a serious center.

However I think the key in all that is Lebron's contract. Once they turn that Lebron max contact into another All NBA guy or a couple of very good 2 way players, then they should make a leap.

The thing that strikes me with Vando and DFS is they can't create their own shot. Which is a bit of a let down. DFS was the primary defender when Golden State beat the Mavs 4-1. I understand it's a honeymoon stage for Laker fans and all, but they will soon find out like we did.

Well, DFS has a lot of help this time. Vando is basically his twin on defense and i think Rui is underrated plus Lebron is a freaking terminator, can still play 1-5.
DFS had Maxi at that time and Powell, that was pretty much it. He was forced to play C/PF/SF, etc... I low key wanted DFS back on the Mavs but i guess Nico had other plans. Him on this Mavs team with already deep wing rotation would be absolutely crazy. Lakers have the best defense in the last 15-20 games or so and he is a huge part of that.

Lakers this year are not so good, they don't have bigs and Luka-Reaves-Lebron back court is almost unplayable on the defensive end..

But it's not a problem, their window is open for 7/10 years... The Mavs have 2/3 years and 1 is almost over.
That's the problem.
