Why would the Sonics trade one of their PGs, which they clearly need to unload, for another PG?

Yeah, because the Sonics want to be the first team in the league who starts 3 point guards.

I smell BS. Seattle has 3 very capable point guards and IIRC they're looking to trade at least one for a forward.
