Thanks to the Rangers and their Buffalo Bills impersonation.

This is a sad excuse for a thread, but we're dead here. Winter meetings, come on down. Here's hoping we come away with more than Jack Cust this year.

At least the last day of the season and the playoffs/WS were interesting as a baseball fan. That's about the best I could hope for as an M's fan...that I would still find some entertaining baseball to watch since my team was sitting at home.

Bring on the offseason. I like football but baseball is my one true sports love.

MLBTradeRumors.com likes us: says Fielder, SP Chris Capuano, and RP Frank Francisco are Seattle-bound.

I would take all three.

Lot of internet reports (take that as you will) saying Fielder won't break $25 mil a year, and will sit somewhere around $21-22. Naturally, I say we offer $27 for 5 years, take the media ribbing, and win some ball games. Open them purse strings!
