We like youth, We were sad to see Lazar went away the first time, pull out all the fireworks to get him back. The 2 future 2nd are trading pieces and that's what we made here.

Deal is accepted. We get some solid veteran defenders.

Phoenix will also send $2m in cash considerations.

Houston accepts. Neither player is in our long term plans. We feel Pietrus' defense and shooting will be a nicer fit for us this season, and we like the cash so we can have flexibility to buy out some players in the future possibly.

Williams is a player that is in our long term plans and we were happy to get him for essentially $2m. Terrence is yet another piece essential to our youth movement here in PHX - and despite other teams desperate attempt to tank (**cough** Orlando **cough**) we are completely happy with our young players and the early draft picks we are lucky to have.

#170

The Chicago Bulls and Charlotte Bobcats have agreed to a trade:

Charlotte will send:

Shannon Brown [2,000,000]
Mike Dunleavy [3,500,000]
Bismack Biyombo [2,798,048]
w/ 3 Million in cash

Total Salary:8,298,048

The Chicago Bulls will send:

Randy Foye [4,250,000]
Taj Gibson [1,195,180]
Brain Scalabrine [854,389]
Total: 6,299,569 x 1.5 = 9.44 Million Deal Work

We're huge fans of Taj Gibson and we think he can contribute now. Bismack has shown flashes of brilliance and we're sure he'll have a great career in the windy city.

#171 Houston and Cleveland have a trade:

Houston sends: Gerald Henderson($2,250,600) +Raja Bell($3,240,000) + Mickael Pietrus($3,500,000) = $8,990,600

Cleveland sends: Michael Beasley($6,262,347) + Cole Aldrich($2,286,000) + Isiah Thomas($473,604)
= $9,021,951

pretty close

Houston will also send Cleveland $3m in cash considerations.

Houston accepts. Henderson is someone we liked on our team, but we felt that we had a lot of defense and we wanted someone who could score at a high rate on the perimeter. Beasley's shot isn't falling this year, but he's been one of the best mid-range shooters in the league. Adelman should turn him into a better basketball player.

NOH and GS have a trade to announce.

NOH outgoing:
Lamar Odom $8,900,000
Gordon Hayward $2,532,960
total: $11,432,960

GS outgoing:
Arron Afflalo $8,600,000

Afflalo is an elite defender and shooter. He fits like a glove beside Rose and Deng.

I needed frontcourt help and i get Odom, who's a really nice PF with a ton of versatility. He can start, or come off the bench, if needed. Hayward is a nice young addition.

Trade #172: Boston Celtics-Memphis Grizzlies

Boston Celtics:
PG Keyon Dooling ($2,246,400)
SF Jason Kapono ($1,223,116)
2012 1st Round Pick (via MIL/PHI, worse pick is mine)
2012 2nd Round Pick
2013 1st Round Pick

Memphis Grizzlies Receive:
PG D.J. Augustin ($3,236,470)

Celtics accept.

We had no interest in signing D.J. Augustin long term, so we flipped him for more assets and we think that Keyon Dooling can do Augustin's job well enough. We add another shooter to our lineup in Jason Kapono.

confirmed. taj is a great asset, and been inquired a lot, but the #7 pick in a draft led us to pull the trigger. this guy is said to be the next KG defensively and we're excited about his huge upside to rebound, block, and run the floor. good dealing.

Trade#173: Washington Wizards and Minnesota Timberwolves

Washington Wizards send:
Eugene Jeter
Sasha Vujacic
2014 WAS 1st
2015 WAS 2nd

Total: $1,708,778

Minnesota Timberwolves send:
Eric Maynor
Lazar Hayward
Cash considerations ($500k)

Total: $2,614,200

We sorely lacked PG depth, and Maynor's a nice backup who's still pretty young and can start in short stretches. Lazar Hayward also played well in small stretches in Minny. Hopefully he can play better here.

That's the thing. Rubio/Maynor/Reggie Jackson is just a too young PG rotation for us to run with. Moving Maynor for future assets and making space to go after a PG vet in FA.

Didnt want to move lazar but Washington consider his non addition a deal breaker. So we added him. Someday, we'll get him back i tell you.

GSW also accepts. Nene is nice, but we felt that we have to make more moves. This one adds us some depth and we felt that S.Jax didn't have enough interest in this game.

This deal just came out of nowhere, DJ Augustin is a great starting PG with potential, he has a great asist/TO ratio, great at controling the game's tempo and everything. He has every tool that you would want from your PG. Great dealing with you Karmaloop.

Portland sends:
$12,950,000 - Nene
Portland's 2014 2nd

San Antonio sends:
$13,250,000 - Tyson Chandler

I believe I have a solid big 3 for years to come in Rudy Gay / LaMarcus Aldridge / Tyson Chandler.

SA accepts. Nene adds an offensive punch that I was lacking in the post, and also a guy who can play PF more easily. I also get a 2nd, was low on picks. I am now set to end the game like this if I have to (I probably won't, but the fact I don't have to make any more moves is a good thing).

Mistake on my end with a pick, making up for it. Happy to send Afflalo, a great defender and shooter to a good up and coming team in WAS.

#177 PORTLAND AND DETROIT

Portland Sends:
$1,243,080 - Damion James

Detroit Sends:
$1,906,200 - Matt Barnes

Portland accepts.
James has serious potential and one day mat end up being better, but Barnes has groomed himself to be a solid role player (mostly defender) on a championship caliber team.

Detroit accepts. We feel that James could really blossom as the defensive enforcer on the wing in Detroit.

#178 Houston and Milwaukee have a trade:

Houston sends: Alec Burks($2,020,200) + Thaddeus Young($8,000,000) + Jeff Teague($1,579,920) = $11,600,120

Milwaukee sends: Danillo Gallinari($4,190,182) + Beno Udrih($6,925,400) = $11,115,582

Houston accepts. I might be overpaying for Gallo a little bit here...but we really like his game and there is only a few young sfs out there and we get one of the best.
