What do you see Grant Hill's ceiling as?

One of the most talented player ever, he had a great 2000 season with 26-7-5, and multiple seasons of at least 20-7-6 prior to that.

Unfortunately we know what happened. Still, how do you see his career unfolding without an injury.

To me, he'd have developed into a hybrid of '80-'82 Magic and '92-'94 Pippen. Sprinkle in mid 2000's Pierce's scoring ability, though he wouldn't need to score as much with T-Mac on his team. So, I think we see LeWade before LeWade with T-Mac and a healthy Grant together.

I could see Grant averaging a 24-9-7 on very good efficiency through his prime. T-Mac probably wouldn't touch his 32 ppg average, but he'd be more efficient. Maybe a 26-7-5.

What do you think?

I see him as a poor man's Lebron and that's not a knock on either players.

He never would have played at a significantly higher level than we saw.

Scottie Pippen. But I agree, he wouldn't have been even better than what he showed prior to his injuries. He'd have roughly equalled that level of play for 4-5 years.

2000 was probably just about "it" for him, but that could easily have been championship level given the right cast. He wasn't Magic, but he was a better focal point than Scottie for an offense. "Poor man's LeBron" underrates LeBron's scoring prowess, IMO, but Hill was still really, really good. If he and Duncan had somehow hooked up healthy in Orlando, they'd likely have outshone Shaq/Kobe.
