Typical power pitcher with a fastball, big curve, and sometimes includes a change. He's a lefty that will be a reliever for us, either a set up man or a lefty specialist. He throws anywhere for 89-93 mph with both a 4-seam and 2-seam fastball. His curve is his best pitch and his change has lots of potential.

YANKEES HAVE 6 PROSPECTS GOING TO THE ALL STAR GAME
Of the 12 teams in the league, the most well-represented on the initial set of 23-man All-Star rosters was Tampa, with six players on the West squad.

Kennedy was no surprise at the top of the pitching list, as he leads the league with a 1.29 ERA and has 72 strikeouts over 63 innings while scattering 39 hits. He is one of three Yankees pitchers on the squad, joining Eric Wordekemper (1.35 ERA, 12 saves) and Daniel McCutchen (4-0, 2.00 ERA).

Also representing Tampa will be catcher Francisco Cervelli, whose .321 average ranks third in the league. The Tampa double-play combo of switch-hitting shortstop Reegie Corona (.277, 14 steals) and second baseman Kevin Russo (.278, nine steals) rounds out the Yankees' contingent.

AAA or do you mean AA? I'd say AA is right around the corner for both of them, probably by mid-late June. The Yanks usually wait until it is summertime before they move guys from Tampa up to Trenton to make sure it is hot out. They did the same with Hughes.

I suggest they do it quickly, these kids are too much for single A, they need a challenge

Tabata: 2 for 6, 2 RBI...average at .307
Nova: 6 innings, 5 hits, 2 ER, 2 BBs, 1 K...clearly did not have his best stuff but because he is so good he was able to keep the scoring to a minimum anyway. His ERA is at 1.74
