Hennigan is too much of a "quality human being" to do something like that. I think he believes in Vaughn and I think the fan base is being extremely inpatient with him.

This is basically what I been trying to say, we are in the second year of a rebuild and we will probably have another 1-3 seasons of losing. If JV still has trouble in a season or two then it will be time to look for someone else but for now some of you need to RELAX lol.

Phil Jackson averaged 6.7 ppg in his 12 year playing career. (Vaughn averaged 4.5 ppg in his 12 yrs)

(And yes, I'm totally saying that Jacque Vaughn is the next Phil Jackson. 8-) )

In this game, though Maxiell defended West better than Nicholson did (scoring-wise), Maxiell was a complete non-factor offensively. Nicholson, on the other hand, soundly outplayed West offensively, and rebounded him to a standstill when they were matched up. Not planning to do this every game, but since I did the other two:

We know Nicholson can score... he's been able to do that since day 1 and he's even better now with the added corner 3pt shot. What's still a question mark is whether he can stay consistent with his defensive effort. He's stepped up very early in the season, let's see if he can bring that most nights for the rest of the season. So far his effort has been encouraging compared to last season.

That being said, it's not all roses. Anthony Davis absolutely destroyed him on the offensive boards last game. He also got to the FT line an absurd amount of times against Nicholson. Davis' two biggest games so far this season (pre/regular season combined) were against Nicholson. We also saw Bennett go off against Nicholson... he's sucked in every other game for the most part. Those are things you can't let happen if you're going to get major minutes.

I thought Nicholson did a damn good job against Davis. Davis still got to the line but shot 9-23 from the field and overall I thought Nicholson's effort and positioning was good. He was also able to defend without fouling, and his Maxiell was absolutely getting torched so that's why he got minutes.
