Jameer is totally awful on offense. 10 straight games single digits.

I think management made it clear to him they want dipo in particular but all the young guys to get time and to grow so I think jameer has just finally accepted his role and is letting the young guys get a chance. hes def let dipo handle the ball more and down the stretch aswell

um, stepping aside is one thing, shooting 27% (on 10 shots per game!) over the last 5 games is another... he isn't stepping aside, he just sucks at this point and looks like he has given up.

This needs to be Jameer's last year as a starting PG. Loved Oladipo/Vucevic and Harkless tonight.

Yeah Harkless has the body and athleticism, and his shot has been really improved this year, but his own head is whats holding him back. Maybe he can build some confidence off this game.

exactly he just looks awful, I hope he can pass nick Anderson for second on the 3pt field goals made list because I don't think he is here next year tbh

Hey guys, Wiz fan here. Good game tonight. We were shooting unusually well from 3 or it would have been a lot tighter. Oladipo, Vuc, and Harkless all look like future studs to me. You guys look to have a very bright future.

Thanks! We appreciate the kind words. Yeah, Harris is the stud, but thanks. Harkless was just feeling it tonight.

I know this is obvious, but Wall is lightning quick. That crossover is dirty!

Harris had a freakin monster game against us last season.. after that I kept telling people dude is like a baby Melo. Had him pegged as a guy who would take a huge leap this year, but I guess injuries held him back

Also a fan of Vucci Mane (heard that nickname and liked it lol). Nice range on his jumper and he's a great rebounder. IMO the main thing preventing him from being an elite offensive center, he's gotta bully people down low more. To be dominant you have to make them foul you and get to the FT line more often.

And of course I love Oladipo, known about him for years now. Kid has gotten so much better from when he played at Dematha. I didn't think his tools would translate to the NBA like they have, already you can tell he's gonna be one of those explosive combo guards

Orlando is intriguing to me, they have some good young players all on rookie contracts. Add a new coach and two lottery prospects with ORL's pick + the Knicks pick, and you're in business (there might be a logjam somewhere down the line though, it'll be interesting to see how that plays out)

Harris isnt even close to being a baby Melo and his injury can no longer be used as an excuse. He's a good player but far from a stud. Harkless is already a better defender than Harris and when he's aggressive from the beginning of games scoring the ball he shoots with more confidence. Unfortunately he doesnt always start games aggressively so consistency is an issue. Luckily both are young but imo Harkless's ceiling is Ariza while Harris has already hit his. We'll see.

With his improved jumpshot, ^this becomes his biggest question mark. Can he learn how to play aggressive night in and night out?

We'll see, I hope so.

This is exactly what Derrick Rose used to do. Dipo will adjust like Rose did especially when he bulks up.

Relevant quote from Oladipo a few days ago...
I just keep going. Imagine when I get toned [with muscle] and stuff. I wonder what my motor's going to look like then."

Sucks that I missed that career night by Moe Harkless. He needs to bring it like that consistently though and not just by scoring. His overall effort level is what I look for when I watch him play. It has gotten much better now that he has been getting consistent playing time.
