Dude has 9 games and played 83 minutes so far this season. He doesn't have a leg to stand on if he wants to start calling teammates out.

While we can just sit back and armchair coach and GM? What leg do we have to stand on? This guy has played on Championship level teams and knows the drive and consistency it takes to win, he might not have the skills that it takes to win but he knows what it takes and he can provide leadership, and that's why he keeps getting deals.

I agree that Perkins sucks I think he's been the worst player in the nba for a while bar maybe Kobe this year but I agree with him and think he's in his right to call out the team.
He wasn't brought there to be productive but more of a mentor and teacher and the team hasn't been putting on the effort. So the whole "he can't talk " is bs.

No it means he knows what it takes, and has experienced success in multiple locations and different rosters. You are certainly allowed to comment on RealGM, by all means do it, you're definitely a more valued poster, but if you don't think he has a leg to stand on in ways of commenting on a team's drive compared to where it should be, then what leg do you have to stand on with that comment.

He has every right to say that because that's basically his only role on any nba roster at this point. It's not like the dude can actually play. But he's been a champion (and yes a key member) and then spent time with the contending Thunder. He's there to share with young guys what his former teams did to win. And that's exactly what he's doing now.

Im sure he's not so lacking in self awareness that he even believes he's a decent individual player at this point.
