Calipari thinks Murray is the real deal and best player in this draft in 5 years, like Kat, Cousins etc, he is biased but I wouldn't doubt him.
If Jamal Murray is Available at 5, hope the Twolves don't make the mistake of passing him up for Dunn/Hield.

If he's 1/3rd the player KAT is I hope Murray is there at 5 and we pick him

Edit: we're in a win/win situation unless we pick Brown or Chriss

I'd be 100% cool with Murray, though I think he ends up being a PG in the NBA and a rather good one at that.

I think he's JJ Redick, which is a great player to get at five. His catch-and-shoot numbers coming off screens blow away all other college players.

JJ Reddick would be a good pick at 5, but I wouldn't call it great. If Murray is Reddick, I'm still considering Dunn and Hield.
If Murray could play point though, I think that changes things a lot. I have a hard time drafting him with that assumption but last season Towns,Booker and Lyles all showed they possessed a lot of skills they weren't allowed to show at Kentucky.
That's my worry with passing on Murray, that he's able to do a lot more than what he showed.

Murray-JJ Reddick with potential to be a distributor and attacking close outs.
Dunn-Bigger Eric Bledsoe
Hield-Wes Matthews with worse defense

I would take the first two over the last one.

That's a great point. Players like Lyles and Booker would of been picked much higher if the skills they shown in the NBA was shown at Kentucky.

From seeing Murray's play in the Pan Am games last summer, Murray easily fits that category and definitely has more to showcase then he did at Kentucky.

we all need to pray that Murray there at 5 and if he is, there is no debate

That's a fair argument for Murray and why I've never completely written him off my board. He's actually about even with Dunn. Really, the guy who's No. 4 for me right now is Hield, but even him I wouldn't be upset with.

Wes Matthews with worse defense sucks, since that's Wes' calling card. I think Hield is more like a homeless man's Joe Johnson

Scoring is the most difficult Stat to translate, specially for a senior.

Just compared Jenkins and Hield. Damn, their numbers are really similar. Makes you wonder. I guess Buddy has better physical tools and got more rebs and stls.

...I have the bad feeling at #5 we will be stuck choosing between two likely busts in Hield and Dunn.

We just need to think what David Kahn would do, then do the opposite!

Very homeless. Joe Johnson is a couple inches taller and the dribbling skills are galaxies apart.

1. Dragan
2. Murray
3. Dunn
4. Hield

Mirray and Dunn are interchangeable. Buddy's my clear ;th right now but I still like him

If we were absolutely going to go with one of the guards I think I'd prefer Murray, Hield and then Dunn in that order. I think Murray is the more flexible and promising of the bunch.

Hield scares me. Id trade down if one of murray, bender or dunn are off the board.

Praying for Murray or Bender. If not we are screwed, and think I'd prefer Chriss over Dunn/Hield.

I'm not sure I understand your wording but one of Murray, Bender or Dunn has to be available at 5 (or Simmons or Ingram).
