Yeah, definitely concerning

Reading through Zgoda's live chat from today it sounds like he thinks that Hield is behind Dunn/Murray/Bender on the Wolves draft board. I'm not sure I put much stock in his observations so take the report with the appropriate skepticism.

This would make me happy. I could live with any of them come tomorrow night. All high BBIQ guys who do multiple things on the court.

Sometimes shooters have a bad day.

I dunno. I think our need is someone to start next to KAT up front. I kinda hope we trade the pick and pull off some coup.

Murray or Buddy.

Like Davis, Sabonis or korkmaz if we trade down.

Dunn likes Minnesota and Philly because they don't have "established" point guards?

As of now I'd be pretty happy if Hield and Murray went #3 and #4 leaving us with Bender, Dunn and Brown. Doesn't look likely.

Yes, agree. But his shot is a bit flat on this video, isn't it?

Krapinsky wrote:I think you're ignoring some context here. Lillard and Curry were pretty well established play making point guards when they came into the league. Lavine has shown he has no point guard skills. Murray hasn't shown such skills outside of high school - he had a 1:1 A/T ratio last year.

While that's true of Lillard, it's engaging in a bit of revisionist history in regards to Curry. His first two years at Davidson he played off the ball next to Jason Richards and posted a 1:1 A/T ratio (a little less than 3 of each). His one year running the point as a junior I think he posted about a 3:2 A/T ratio. While Steph's PG chops were slightly less theoretical, it should be noted that Murray was playing against better competition while younger than Curry (or Lillard).

Murray did show enough PG skills in the Pan Am games to fool some people into thinking that Bennett was showing a pulse. I don't think that he's a true PG, but I think he could kill it as the type of pick and pop/roll specialist Jason Terry played in Dallas. I also think he's the guy of the top 3 guards that could share a backcourt with both Ricky and Zach.
"A while back,'' Cardinal said, "I took a picture of the standings and texted it to Love, just to bust his chops,'' Cardinal said. "He sent me a picture back of a snowdrift.''
