Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
If I had to keep one guy for next year off 1.5 games of action Harrison is not near the top of my list.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Deshaun Thomas, Tim quarterman, and Brandon Paul are all more interesting to me than Aaron Harrison

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Clifford said Frank has put on 20 lbs since last summer. Says Frank will play more 5 this year since he is stronger.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Much much better 2nd half for Harrison. 15/5/6. 3pt shooting still rough and plays out of control too often.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Deshaun Thomas gets a call for the preseason roster. Harrison gets a call and then a cut. Gabe York maybe gets a call.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Found a re-airing of today's game on WatchESPN. Dammit I can't help myself.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
"They definitely want to play me (Aaron Harrison more off the ball," he said. "It's kinda tough. (I'm used) to creating plays for other guys and myself. I obviously want the ball in my hand. It can be difficult to strike that balance."
"Last summer, he was playing at the point," Ewing told At The Hive. "This year, we're playing him at the three. He's gonna be playing the two and the three."

Hope we can keep Paul.
Side note: I love how as soon as the draft was over Givony jumped right bank into grading prospects. He's been in Spain all week covering the U17 Championship.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
anyone watching this game today? We just went on a 16-3 run to start the 2nd half. I wonder who is leading the comeback?

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Tobey rocking 8 points, 8 boards, 3 blk, 1 stl in 18 minutes.
Someone give Mike Tobey a nickname.
Just from boxscore watching I like Brandon Paul.

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
His profile on DX makes him pretty suspect (especially the decision making/TO part)
Anyway i was thinking, isn't the LV summer league the best to check for potential good opportunities ? More teams, more players and less open spots in the rosters so easier to negotiate a contract ?
As for the other one, Tobey or not Tobey, i hope that is not the question (ok, sorry...

Re: Hornets 2016 Summer League
Spidey finished with 16 pts, 14 rbds (7 o, 7 d), 2 stl, and 3 blk in 26 minutes.
7 footer, 250 pounds, nice fundamentals and knows his role. Hell he could make the roster.
AirHarr posted 3-10 FG, 1-5 3PT, 6 boards, 2 ast, 4 tos. Do you keep a SF project that can't shoot?
