Shatkins playing 4D chess. Meanwhile Indians' fans still waiting for Edwin to remember how to hit the baseball.

We may never lose again!
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

6.5 WAR Pillar!

and then the jays were 17-21. same record through 38 games as 2015. last year's team was 19-23 through 42 games. not saying they're making the playoffs like those teams, because probably not, but suddenly meaningful summer baseball is around the corner

Bautista outplays his contract by more than $70 million over the next four seasons (2013-2016).

Much more impressive than this 5 game winning streak is the 3 game winning streak in games decided by 1 run.

I deserve a serving of that and seconds on Tepera. That guy has gone from plain awful at times to Biagini 2.0. 12.2 consecutive innings of scoreless relief. Great to see so many guys stepping up.

Tepera's power sinker has been devastating. So much better than that Esmil Rogers-style straight fastball he used to throw before.

Speaking strictly as a fan, I'd love to see Bautista get at least one more huge HR in the playoffs while still a Jay.

So when are we going to trade Pill-star for a bunch of prospects?

I have to think Pete Walker has had some influence. Both Tepera and Barnes are doing credible work and Smith is turning into a strong eighth inning guy. I guess there isn't much you can do with the 40 year old Grilli.

We are 7 games back of a wildcard spot. Gotta keep winning series to have any sort of a shot at the wildcard.
