I'm honestly surprised the Defense didnt fold late in the 4th. Thats quietly been a thing this season.

The Bears will win or lose tomorrow depending on how well the front 7 controls the game.

Going to pat myself on the back on this one. :D

I'm so hyped about this win. Monday's are always better when the bears win.

I think us running the ball allowed our defense to rest. When our offense is constantly either scoring, punting, or turning it over, the defense doesn’t get a lot of rest. I remember in 2005 one of our defensive players saying Thomas Jones was our best defensive player because he let our defense rest.

The other factor is Mack sat out training camp, so his conditioning wasn’t great to start the year.

This is why losing to the giants and bills is so horrible. We’d be fighting for the one seed. Playing the saints or rams at home versus playing them on the road is a huge difference. Hopefully Tru heals up by playoff time.

Also this injury could be a blessing in disguise. Might force Nagy to get a more balanced run game and maybe Howard can start playing like he has been the past two seasons.

We destroyed the Bills. We’ve lost to the Packers, Dolphins, Patriots, and Giants.

I was thinking of the dolphins. And i completely repressed the packers game. We'd be the one seed right now if we win those games

Definitely should be at least 10-3 if not 11-2. But I'm not going to complain as we've all but locked up our first playoff berth in 8 damn years. 8!

Floyd is a factor now. And the linebackers and secondary have improved. Even when offense comes up with an adjustment plan they can't execute. The Bears D have also gained that extra gear too from self belief and total buy in.

15-6? Against the Rams? Seriously?

That was a surreal experience.

This defense could take this team all the way.

I don't see a similar outcome on the road in LA and New Orleans as far as defensive domination.

The offense has to be much better.

Definitely has to be much better. But they can win with an offense that pulls it's own weight and puts points on the board, but most importantly, they can't turn the ball over and make costly mistakes. They have shown the capability to do that. Mitchell is ranked 6th in total QBR. Bears have moved all the way up to the 6th ranked team in the NFL. They are #1 in give/takeaways differential. They are contenders. They just have to start putting it all together.

Losing Callahan for the season is going to be a big blow. McManis is serviceable but he isnt as good in coverage as BC.
