I can see Harden getting traded this weekend or by the deadline. I root for Wall and Boogie. But, Harden just lost any chance he had at coming back with his stance. I feel for him. He asked them twice to make things right and bring in players. They decided to let go of their coach, GM, and haven't given Harden enough ammo to compete in the West.
This is just not a good situation no matter how you look at it.

Re: Rockets offseason
Roster wise, best off-season since 2017.
Hated to see Morey go but have been mildly impressed by Stone so far.
I''m also genuinely excited to see what Coach Silas brings to the table, particularly once this Harden situation reaches some sort of resolution.

Spencer Dinwiddie is a more than solid starter or a 6th man of the year dependent on the circumstances and his future role with your team.
Jarrett Allen is a DPOY candidate in the future and a likely All-Star in 2-3 seasons.
Picks later on, even swaps have value.
If you received 3 of these you cannot say it’s worthless as Harden has met with ownership before making a larger deal about this and will force his way out.
If you receive Wall and a 1st rounder for Westbrook and 3 of these for Harden you just fast forwarded your rebuild 5 years.
Agree Nets have best offer . I do think rockets should ask for Joe Harris sharpshooter too along with 2 FRP

Re: Rockets offseason
I honestly do not think Harris is available as they just signed him a few days ago and he came up to become a semi-star because of the Nets. They took him when no one else would and developed him.
I think Kurucs might be available in a deal.
If I were to guess, if this happens with the Nets, the Rockets are asking for 4 picks and swaps. The Nets likely won't give that much. Say a compromise is 2 picks and 1 swap. Say its 2023 pick, 2024 swap, and 2025 pick mildly protected (Top 6).
Then Houston is going to want LeVert (obviously), and either Dinwiddie or Allen (based on preference, value if they trade them, future salary implications, style of play) and will likely want Kurucs and maybe another role player they see who can help rebuild with their roster.
That might be LeVert, Allen, Kurucs, T. Prince, 2023 1st, 2024 1st pick swap, and 2025 1st (Top 6 protected - then goes to 2026 top 3, then 2027 not protected) pick, for Harden.
We shall see what happens. It is weird and very difficult to trade after training camp is over in the early season. But, maybe it happens this weekend OR before the deadline if at all.

Re: Rockets offseason
Bucks trade: Middleton, Brook, DDV, 5 future 2nd round picks
Bucks get: Harden, Theis
Celtics trade: Theis, 2022 1st
Celtics get: Brook, 2023 2nd from Bucks
Rockets trade: Harden
Rockets get: Middleton, DDV, 2022 1st from Celtics, 4 future 2nd round picks from Bucks (2022, 2024, 2025, 2027)
Rockets get an all star, a valuable young player, a 1st, and 4 second rounders for Harden. Rockets can then either go for the playoffs with Middleton and DDV, or they can flip Middleton for some picks.
What do you guys think? Is this enough?

Realistically when a GM sees that a team is offering 5x future 2nd round picks in a deal, he knows that he's still getting screwed.

Middleton, Jrue, Wilson for Harden, Gordon, House
How does this fair for the rockets? I think Jrue and Wall would be excellent together.

First off I feel horrible about what is going on with your franchise. I have been a fan of the Rockets since the early 90s.
It looks like you have no choice but to trade Harden and Westbrook. Harden has made it known it is BK or bust. The longer the front office waits the less you will get. We have seen how this plays out.
I hope we are able to come to a deal at some point without giving away the house. If you were to get Levert, Dinwiddie, a few picks, and another player I truly do think you will be happy with the rebuild if you get something in return for Westbrook as well. You should stockpile picks and young promising players to rebuild now. If you wait another year the trade offers will be half what they will be this off-season.
I have been a Nets fan for decades and after we made the Boston trade and when we blew up our early 2000's team I went nuts. I have seen some DARK TIMES. You guys will be okay. It will be fine in 2 seasons if you make the right deal now.

At least 20 teams could be that offer.
