Giving up all that to overpay DeRozan? This Bulls team is weird as hell and now they can't trade a pick until 2027. Surprised Lauri wasn't involved though.

I think their ownership wants to win now. Not sure these will lead to that but it ought to get them in to the playoffs.

I want to see that Lakers team 7 years ago
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Interesting to look back at history with new info. Ramona Shelbourne reports that Westbrook called Kahwi about teaming up on the Clippers that summer.
Of course what happened was KL got PG13 to request trade to Clippers. Then Russ asked out and got traded to Houston, then wizards and now Lakers.
But supposedlY he had a long term goal of plaYing in LA. I don’t recall the FA market when he signed the super max. Maybe the LA teams weren’t in a position to sign him?
But he had MVP seasons at the time and got PG13 to extend there, had at least one big season together, then was looking to bail on OkC and PG13?
Now after an odyssey, he’s made it to LA. He quit on Harden, he quit on Beal. All because KD quit on him?
I would mind seeing him win a chip but not with the Lakers.

Way too soon overreaction to a rookie - Davion Mitchell edition.
23 points in his first summer league game and absolutely looked like his skills and style will translate to real NBA games.

The LA and LeBron effect . Not even the nets were signing minimum contract on the first day of free agency .

Kevin Knox.

Would it appear dodgy if we now absorb Knox for small asset so that Knicks can offer more to Kemba who will then give up more of his guaranteed amount ?
