Hey, you stole my sig! Star doesn't have enough open-mouth, insert-foot quotes that you have to go and swipe one of mine?

No worries, I think I saw someone else on our board with it too. It was simply too good to pass up.

P.S. - You need to change the star to kalel LOLOLOLOL!

u mean when the bench brought the lakers back into the game??

Still no excuse to keep Kobe on the bench.

The bench played great got the lead down to single digits, but couldn't keep the momentum going. They made some key mistakes out there during their run.

That's the thing though. Kwame and Walton were just as bad as the Seattle game. Fisher was terrible. Odom did not shoot well, although he worked hard.

Bottom line is that I'm convinced playing balanced would have caused losses in both games. If Kobe passed off more shots in the Seattle game and got Walton, Odom, Kwame more feeds, we would have lost that game.

In this game, with the same lineup and rotations, I think our best chance to beat the Suns would have been a high-volume shooting Kobe. The team shot 36% aside from Kobe, who shot 45.5%

If we took away Kwame's possessions and turnovers, we might have won this game.

Our dogged approach to a post game despite not having post talent is a lesson Phil Jackson needs to learn.

Our best players right now are perimeter players, and we need to play that perimeter game until Bynum comes back.

I dont know why zach has a bad reputation, the guy can hit 19 footers and has a couple post moves. Most of all he can catch, although he may hold on to the ball too long, but its sure better than kwame brown not being able to hold on to the ball at all.

I wish I had room for about 15 more. Once they start to pile up, it's hard to decide what to keep and what to leave out. I'm pretty happy with the three I have, but there are so many options.

It was also hard to get rid of my all-time favorite B-Scott quote: "Kobe is playing exactly how I want him to. He must have been reading my posts."

So by my math we should be 3rd in the west.

We are 26-12 tied with Dallas and NO. Dallas gets the nod in the Southwest so they are No. 2.

Now, since the northwest is held down by Portland they get the 4th with 3.5 games back.

That leads to the 3rd spot that we are tied with NO. We have split the season series. However, we have a better conference record.

Oh no, there will be no giving up of anything. My supervisor takes Fridays off. Plus, I spend enough time out of the office on assignments that nobody will miss me. It's just a question of if I want to be unprofessional or not.

One thing about Star I remember very well is in a matter of a day Star posted "trade Kwame" in about every thread. So there were about 10 trade kwame comments by Star in the same day all in different threads.

But, I really enjoy his threads. Not only is it interesting, but he get's everyone's reaction towards his ideas. Being good or bad.

A bit misleading, though. Unless we win the division, we can do no better than fifth, correct?

Kobe volume shooting never worked against the Suns in the past.

Well, this team definitely needs to spend some quality time at the ol drawing board to come up with a new game plan. Our identity has shifted and the guys look lost right now. The coaching staff needs to dictate what type of team we are going to be with Bynum out - and hopefully they take into account the weakness of our frount court. I know we are short handed but minutes need ot be distributed based on production on the floor and with which teamates.

It may be a bit rough for a bit. We are no longer a big team up front without Drew.

Life is short. Live a little for yourself whenever you get the chance. I'm sure you've built up plenty of "professionalism" saved up in the karma bank.

What I meant is that while we might be technically third in the Western standings, unless we win the division the best seed we could get is fifth. So figuring out where we stand is kind of a moot point. I could have botched that, but I'm almost positive that's how it works.
