Being a good rebounder requires hard work. Being a great scorer, does not require as much hard work.

I just don't look at the grin as a laugh grin. It looked more like a painful grin to me. Like darn i should have made that shot

Lamar is not well liked so it's expected when he gets nitpicked on after 23 straight consistent games.

Are you freakin kidding me? Being a great scorer doesnt require hard work? So the countless hours Lebron, Kobe, DWade, Arenas perfecting their scoring isn't hard work? Scoring requires as much hard work as rebounding

I'm guessing the only reason your saying that is because rebounding is the only thing Lamar does better than Kobe.

B-Scott, why don't you give it a rest.

Everybody has the right to express his opinions, but not if by doing so they're disrupting the board. And it seems to me that your pursuit of your anti-Kobe agenda has been doing exactly that.

The Lakers board should be a more civil and interesting place than having every game thread degenerating into this kind of crap.

Yes, he was sick.

But on the other side of the spectrum, you have BS wanting Kobe to be one of only 3 starting guards in the NBA to shoot over 50% (Brewer, Nash, and Deron being the others), all while having only four serviceable fingers on his shooting hand.

Nah, its not the fact that its Odom, or that BS is a supporter. Its his gestures, not him.

If it was Magic Johnson, Bryant, Chris Paul, or Ronny Turiaf missing the game-winning shot and then smiling about it, I wouldve got on them too.

Besides that, I havent said anything else about Odom. All else i've said has been directed at BS' posts.

speaking of kobes hand.

I hope it will get better over the offseason, i really dont want this injury to affect his stroke for the rest of his career, just to save this season.

What a disaster of a game.
Poor defense.
Too many 3 point attempts.
A couple of guys just didn't show up too play.

These last 2 games are good to get out of our system before the playoffs. I really think Phil will use these 2 games as examples of how NOT to play in the playoffs.
By then, we'll have our big guys back and won't need to put up this many 3s, and will have better defense.

There is no way you can say that now because i have been all positive about Kobe for over a month and had him as my MVP on the main board.

The one time i bring up something negative on Kobe and now im disrupting the board.

Yet after every Lamar great game,it seems like you discount how well he played. I just dont say anything and just say to myself. EXPECTED

Every game thread has not turned in to this because i have not even been negative about Kobe. Your making this up and going by things that happen 2 months ago.

I should be able to critisize Kobe ONCE A MONTH at least without you saying im distruping the board.

The points i made made a lot of sense. Playing with a temper is not a good thing and results in you taking bad shots and hurting your team because your so pissed off. IM DONE on the topic

lmao!

Is that really your thinking?

The fact that you complimented Bryant once or twice will change the reputation youve built for youself on all RGM boards and a Lamar Lover/Kobe Hater?

BTW, MVP on the main board?

B-Scott wrote:
How can Kobe be MVP with the team coming off losses to Charlotte and Memphis and now at 4th seed. Im not saying he can't win the MVP,but there is no way he is a automatic like before those losses.

I think he has dropped to about 3 on the MVP list. Below Paul and Garnett

And is this one of the "ive been all positive" posts that you spewed out in an attempt to reverse yor reputation?

Lets just forget about Kobe and Lamar for a 2nd

It's not about reputation and i have never been a hater. I simply bring up the truth and facts game by game. I grew up on the showtime era where Magic was a 50 + % shooting. Magic averaged 23.4 points, 12 assist and shot 53.4% in 1987. Kareem was a 50% shooter. Efficient basketball from the 1st and 2nd options. Shaq was a efficient player, close to 60% shooter.

It's not about hating. Weather it's Bynum, Lamar, Gasol, Kobe. The 1st and 2nd options need to be efficient and not just volume shooters taking a bunch of shots and shooting a low percentage.

It doesn't matter who the player is. if your chucking up 25 footers with consistency,i can't stand that and it will result in inconsistent basketball.

Sasha, Farmar, Kobe, Lamar all need to attack the basket more. Especially in the 4th quarter. Im not pointing at one individual player.

But its hard not to point as the leader who is the one coming out shooting the 3's early. I'll lay off because of the sensitivity.

Thats a pretty redundant opening sentence, considering you refer to Bryant and Lamar about 5 times in your post.

I said everyone needs to attack the basket more. Everyone is not pointing out 2 individuals. It's the entire team

But your key players have to set the example early on defense and when it comes to shot selection. Rememeber i said players. Not player

So i have to agree with you that Kobe is the MVP just to not be considered a hater. Your kidding right

There are plenty of fans on the Realgm boards who dont consider there superstars the MVP and there not considered haters.

I had him as my MVP up until the back to back losses and the Lakers dropping to 4th seed and close to 5.

Right now i have Chris Paul as my MVP and he deserves it right now. There is still 8 games left in the season though.

Umm, what?

You have a very unique talent of reading a post and completely missing the point time and time again.

I still dont understand how I drag myself into your posts.

BTW, I have NEVER said Bryant is the MVP, so I dunno where youre getting at with the "agreeing with me with Bryant as an MVP unless youre a hater".

Thats just you doing the usual; putting words in people's mouths.

I'll stop here. I wont even bother replying to your next post, and ludicrous as it may be, as youre surely gonna spew out something else thats beside the whole point, completely ignoring what I had to say.

I should really know better.

You said this is one of the "ive been all positive that i spewed out and you brought up a post i made on the main board 2 days ago.

My point is i have been positive about Kobe up until he is resorting back to last season and thats taking those long 3 pointers. I brought up MVP because your the one who quoted me from the main board,so i assumed you were upset that i said how can he be MVP when we couldnt even beat Charlotte and the Grizzlies and we slipped to 4th seed.

What am i supposed to think when you bring up my quotes from the main board. Naturally im going to assume that comment i made bothered you a little. Move on to the Wizards game
