“When you’re building your core, try to keep that talent there, because you want the community to be attached to those players. The more people know who their players are, and appreciate their players, the stronger that bond will be.”
- Ray Allen

Sixers cult is big for the team. Because the truth is, all these players value their career and money over the championship. Having a great bond between the community (including coaching staff) and the players do push them and break their limitsz

Question I have for 76er fans :

What role do you expect Fultz to play next year ? Starter ? 6th man running 2nd unit?

How well will he play next to Simmons .

Thoughts ?

Thank you

I think he starts out on the bench most likely, but ultimately will play half of his minutes at the 2, and half at the 1. 30 minutes a night overall.

Cleaning the glass have a good video review of some defensive situations that arose in our recent Cavs game - worth a look for subscribers. The first part of it shows the value of an on-court leader like JJ Redick outside of his shooting/movement as well as the defensive value of RoCo. One thing that comes out of it is the Cavs will be VERY hard to stop in the playoffs.

Very random, but does anyone remember a Brett Brown quote where he said something along the lines of "a playoff game being worth 10 regular season games in experience" ? I think he said something like this within the past two years, but can't find the article.

What's the deal with TLC? Do you think he has shown promise and do you think he has a future as a Sixer?

Lloyd Pierce. Nobody cares?

Anyway, i find him to be a player’s coach. I hate our defense until before recently. But recently, I hate it again.

I think Hawks will be making a bad choice hiring him. He’s just a assistant coach material.

Fwiw, if Hawks hires him, its because they want to implement that good culture Brett set during tanking seasons with Lloyd’s experience

OT: Is your username that place in China? We use to buy construction materials there at Foshan.

EuroLeague Rising Star 2018 : annual award that is given to the player the EuroLeague deems its "top rising star" with age under 22.

1. (guess who) Luka Doncic
2. Alberto Abalde SPAIN, age 22
3. Mathias Lessort
4. Jonah Bolden and Luca Vildoza

Hey mods, once July rolls around..

Can we have new threads to discuss individual reports linking the Sixers to specific players in free agency?

I think the stance last year was to consolidate everything into a single free agency megathread which lead to fragmented discussion.

Yeah, everything in one thread gets messy as hell.

Certainly open to it, but it gets messy when certain posters start a new thread for every possible player they might be interested:

I wantz Ben MACLEMORE 4 SIXERS:

Do it!

Ideally we will have a general free agent talk thread for those style thoughts, and then we get a new thread for things like re-signing Redick or that Steven A Smith keeps saying Manu Ginobli is coming (when he isn't). So, threads for free agents of significant interest dedicated just to them, but also not a scattershot of 40 threads.

There should be a "+1" button directly to the left of the quote button. If not, I agree it's probably a browser issue.
