Well, it's preseason so there have been some stupid crazy starting lineups so far. Come the regular season, I can't imagine Tobias wont be starting at either the 3 or the 4.

Unless JV plans to start Hark at the 3 and Maxiel at the 4, with Tobes as the super sub? But that seems pretty stupid to me.

JV can't give him the green light last year then bench him after he's improved all off season. It's probably just nonsense I'd imagine

So apparently Wiggins has this complacent attitude and just coasts in practices? Thats not a good sign. Bill Self has openly questioned him on this.

The Tobias thing has to do with Afflalo and Nelson. There is a reason you haven't seen Tobias mixed in with those two (or even one of them for that matter). Not talking just starting with them...I mean he hasn't played with them even off the bench.

Power struggle. The vets prefer playing with Moe because Moe plays subservient when he is on court with them, he just goes and stands in the corner. This is the reason Moe goes long stretches of inactivity and then only explodes in bursts while he is playing with Tobias (talking last year and this pre) and Oladipo etc.

Everybody remembers Afflalo and Nelson having issues with Tobias and freezing Tobias out last year when he showed up taking command on court and in the huddles.

I don't think they take kindly to a 20 year old kid just showing up halfway through the season and trying to take the leadership role.

I sure hope you're wrong about this. If you're correct, then it blows up the whole theory of keeping Nelson and Afflalo because the youngsters need veterans to "look up to."

But it cant possibly be that Tobias cant play with other capable scorers? They didnt freeze him out, you mentioned that in the offseason and I have yet to remember a time when they "froze him out" in huddles or on the court. Thats nonsense.

I don't know if Afflalo deliberately "froze him out," but he went long stretches during many games where he did not pass the ball to Harris... it was pretty frustrating to watch, especially when Tobias was playing well.

Its not really a case of them just not passing to Tobias, it was more about them not passing to ANYONE besides themselves in a two man game. It's not like they passed to Moe or Vuc either.

You're reading way too much into it, Neon. Maybe you are right but it's way too soon to say this is actually happening. I think it's mostly Vaughn experimenting with lineups. I mean how many games have Afflalo and Harris played together? Afflalo was out with injuries for most of the post trade deadline season.
