LMAO Ray way too low, though I think your sig and username hint at why you might underrate him.

If you moved Ray up to be roughly equal with Chalmers (they both run hot/cold and benefit from certain matchups), then the list is about right.

Lewis or UD... I'm not sure. Both are not impactful right now. Both have their moments, UD plays more and is guaranteed playing time...

Its a serious question , i dont think Ray Allen is all that much better then Mike Miller, if you give Mike Miller Ray Allen minutes your gonna probably get about the same production offensively and better rebounding and defense.

Allen's weakness is defense (which is why I can't see putting Battier or even Chalmers behind him) but Terry is bad there too.

Get older, softer, more injury prone and more reliant on three point shots from players on the warning track of their career.

Most overrated signing of the offseason both from the standpoint of Boston/Miami. Losing him in Boston is NO BIG DEAL and they were ready to replace him several times but couldn't seal the deal. Bradley replaced him in the starting line and Terry is a better fit for the Celtics roster because he can put the ball on the floor and CREATE a shot, unlike Ray (I understand he's not going to have to CREATE in Miami...) Both of these guys are uber clutch and deadly shooting the ball and Terry is the better defender/athlete. He's also younger.

Ray is now playing for the "Defending Champs" so he's automatically hated everywhere he goes. The fact that people are going to look at Ray and see that he has weaknesses that can easily be exploited... Well it's not hard to add 2 + 2... teams/players are going to look to attack Ray aggressively whether they think he's a traitor or not.

But there will be plenty of guys around the league (guys who respect Doc, Paul, KG, Rondo etc. that will have a little extra fuel against Ray, beyond the usual fuel of wanting to take down the Champs and a former Star player.

I just think Miami is making some poor choices. They're getting older and more fragile when they need to build a water tight roster. Ray, Battier, Miller, Haslem, Shard... lots of miles on those players and they're going to be counted on in ton of hostile situations and environments.

It's going to be tough for Lebron to carry all these old declining players to a title with a prematurely declining Wade and an at times suspect but otherwise really good Bosh. The Heat won a championship. Bravo!

Repeating isn't going to be easy and Ray isn't going to be the difference maker Miami thinks. They're just desperate for some of the Celtics moxy and mental toughness. It's understandable

theres no reason a homecourt game should be that big of an advantage but the refs make it so

the celtics beat the heat last year , the double OT game was disgusting they should have won that series 4-1 and the 2010 finals game 7 was atrocious

whats jason terry got to do with ray allen? celtics signed terry to shore up the bench, comparing terry and allen is dumb, and i never even brought up terry

as far as terry goes, both ray allen and terry arent that good right now

Jason Terry on the year .. 10.1 ppg on 43.4 % shooting and 37.2% from 3 pt ,

Ray allen on the year .. 10.9 ppg on 44.9% shooting and 41.9% from 3 pt

Not that big of a difference in production, ray allen is better but its not by a wide margin, and Ray allen plays with lebron james and dywane wade and bosh and probably gets the most open looks of any player in the league because of there prime big 3 players.

but this isnt even about terry and ray allen, mike miller is probably a better player then both because he also can do other things like rebound and play better defense then both players

Terry is terrible now because of 1 game though? whats the logic in that, Ray Allen in 2008 when playing against wally szerbiak averaged about 4 ppg for a whole series on horrendous shooting while letting wally szerbiak avg double digits in scoring, does that mean ray allen is horrible? obviously not
