LMAO Ray way too low, though I think your sig and username hint at why you might underrate him.

If you moved Ray up to be roughly equal with Chalmers (they both run hot/cold and benefit from certain matchups), then the list is about right.

this, although DatD-Wade3 is spot on if Anderson is playing like he did the first game through out the post season and surpassing Rio.

good question, this is what I think

LeBron
Wade
Bosh
Allen - the past few weeks he has been great. got 20 off the bench in game 1 as well.
Battier - I use to consider him our 4th best player, but Ray has been passing him in production
Chalmers
Birdman
Cole
Miller - use to be our 4th best when Battier wasn't here and when he actually played. He would be higher if he played more.
Lewis or UD... I'm not sure. Both are not impactful right now. Both have their moments, UD plays more and is guaranteed playing time...

Its a serious question , i dont think Ray Allen is all that much better then Mike Miller, if you give Mike Miller Ray Allen minutes your gonna probably get about the same production offensively and better rebounding and defense.

You're right. I actually think we'd be better off with Jason Terry instead of Ray Allen, I mean Celtics fans told us all last summer how Jet was an upgrade and how Ray sucked.

It's funny because absolutely nobody who's watched the Heat play 83 games this season, and apparently nobody in the Heat's coaching staff, agrees with you.

Jason Terry has been terrible this year.

Allen's weakness is defense (which is why I can't see putting Battier or even Chalmers behind him) but Terry is bad there too.

But yeah the agenda here is obvious. Surprised he couldn't put Lewis ahead as well.

The more broke down old guys end up in Miami the more broke down old guys the Celtics and the rest of the NBA have the pleasure of doo dooing on. I love Miami's strategy this offseason. Get older, softer, more injury prone and more reliant on three point shots from players on the warning track of their career.

Couldn't be happier.

U mad now?

I can't wait till the C's wipe the floor with your teams sorry a$$. Healthy Boston team beats a healthy cHeat team.

humblebum wrote:Most overrated signing of the offseason both from the standpoint of Boston/Miami. Losing him in Boston is NO BIG DEAL and they were ready to replace him several times but couldn't seal the deal. Bradley replaced him in the starting line and Terry is a better fit for the Celtics roster because he can put the ball on the floor and CREATE a shot, unlike Ray (I understand he's not going to have to CREATE in Miami...) Both of these guys are uber clutch and deadly shooting the ball and Terry is the better defender/athlete. He's also younger.

humblebum wrote:Ray is now playing for the "Defending Champs" so he's automatically hated everywhere he goes. The fact that people are going to look at Ray and see that he has weaknesses that can easily be exploited... Well it's not hard to add 2 + 2... teams/players are going to look to attack Ray aggressively whether they think he's a traitor or not.

But there will be plenty of guys around the league (guys who respect Doc, Paul, KG, Rondo etc. that will have a little extra fuel against Ray, beyond the usual fuel of wanting to take down the Champs and a former Star player.

I just think Miami is making some poor choices. They're getting older and more fragile when they need to build a water tight roster. Ray, Battier, Miller, Haslem, Shard... lots of miles on those players and they're going to be counted on in ton of hostile situations and environments.

It's going to be tough for Lebron to carry all these old declining players to a title with a prematurely declining Wade and an at times suspect but otherwise really good Bosh. The Heat won a championship. Bravo!

Repeating isn't going to be easy and Ray isn't going to be the difference maker Miami thinks. They're just desperate for some of the Celtics moxy and mental toughness. It's understandable

Thanks for the laughs Celtics fans!

LOL I didn't even READ OP's list and just noticed he ranked Allen that low

Dude... at least be grateful he was a big cause in winning the ring for you guys back in 08. Be a hater sure but seriously? 9th? You probably got mixed up with Terry (Which is probably a fact)

Balls to have an agenda and make a thread about it on the HEAT board

whats jason terry got to do with ray allen? celtics signed terry to shore up the bench, comparing terry and allen is dumb, and i never even brought up terry

as far as terry goes, both ray allen and terry arent that good right now

Jason Terry on the year .. 10.1 ppg on 43.4 % shooting and 37.2% from 3 pt ,

Ray allen on the year .. 10.9 ppg on 44.9% shooting and 41.9% from 3 pt

Not that big of a difference in production, ray allen is better but its not by a wide margin, and Ray allen plays with lebron james and dywane wade and bosh and probably gets the most open looks of any player in the league because of there prime big 3 players.

but this isnt even about terry and ray allen, mike miller is probably a better player then both because he also can do other things like rebound and play better defense then both players

Greatful of what? he should be greatful he got to play with KG and PP

in 2008 he almost cost the celtics in the playoffs by getting shut down by wally sczerbiak in the 2nd round, he was horrific that series and even the atl series. he was having a hard time with derek fisher in the finals in 2010

i dont understand whats so hard to answer the question there is not an agenda at all, hes better then terry but its not by a huge margin at all, in fact if terry was on the heat hed probably be better or at least the same since he would be playing with lebron and wade and getting easier shots

i dont see why anyone would have a gripe with my rankings just because i have him 8th , alot and most heat fans have him around the 5-6-7 range

if i had to change the rankings i probably put him 7th instead of 8th in front of cole

We get it, your mad ray left and the celtics got stuck with Terry who has been beyond awful and cant even score a point in game 1. Your trolling attempt is weak as hell. You need to release that anger elsewhere, there are thousands of good porn sites that can help you out, PM me if you want a link or two.

why are you making up arguments to support your statement

why do you assume i am mad ray allen left the celtics and got terry?

where have i said in this thread terry is better then allen? since it was even brought up i posted terry and allen stats and told you ray allen has been slightly better this year, even though this isnt even about comparing ray allen and terry like youve made it to be

Terry is terrible now because of 1 game though? whats the logic in that, Ray Allen in 2008 when playing against wally szerbiak averaged about 4 ppg for a whole series on horrendous shooting while letting wally szerbiak avg double digits in scoring, does that mean ray allen is horrible? obviously not

wade

lewis
allen
miller
rio
cole
battier

haslem

lewis and miller have showed recently that, they can still play in an effective manner. how in world they are regarded as unimpactful. during the playoffs, we should make use of these two guys rather than haslem.

Looks like you made a mistake there with lewis above allen, battier, rio and miller.
